Reviews for Sprout (Previously Prep AI)

For starters, I would like to say that the idea of swiping is brilliant and outstanding. But this is where you make a mistake. The majority of people who come here want to earn money, but if the app asks for money which we don't have before even getting any experience of the app itself, that's where you lose your customers. the app even tells us to rate the app before even letting us get any experience. that's not how it works. How will we know the app works properly, applies for jobs properly??

I understand what you are trying to do. It is kinda like the dating app swipe left right kinda thing. I was excited and that's why I paid for a week's service. The personalised Ai resume and cover letter writing is good but needs a bit more improvement and personalization. But now my question is, if all my applications are having issues then your giving me my credit back is not going to solve my job application problem, right? it only cost me my time and resources and gave me false hope.

Big pay wall. Too good to be true as a free service. If you reject the service the first time you get 30% off, so if you're willing to pay, this could be for you. Conclusion: not intended for people who are looking to make their first paycheck. The pay wall is a weekly subscription: - 20 applications, $13.99/week (30% off is 9.99), - 50 apps 28.99/week (19.99) - 250 apps 42.99/week (29.99) 1* Just because it was advertized to me but not intended for my demographic(Entry-level, Graduate) Thanks

Waste of Money!!!!! Downloaded the app and paid this ridiculous fee, only for the app not to work. The screen just goes black with no movement. What a way to scam people out of their hard earned cash!!!!!!

Paid, but now I'm stuck in a loop where I just click "continue" and "let's get started" which just continues endlessly. Can't say for sure if it's a scam, but if it was, it wouldn't look much different

I downloaded the app before. it doesn't work for God knows why. whenever I try to open the app it doesn't let me. it shows the logo and takes me out of the app right away. I deleted it and downloaded again today in case things are different, but no, still the same.

Easy to use and very helpful, I'm so glad I found this app randomly from TikTok. Hoping they add more options for job opportunities

Spent $20 and it does not work. I opened the app,I answered the questions and paid $20 so I can send as many resumes as I can. I get sent back to the "get started screen" and it keeps looping. I want a refund.

App paywalls you immediately. Scam. I need a job I can't afford to pay you $60 a month or any of the other B.S. scumbag options to allow me to mass apply, especially when I'm seeing reviewed paid users saying that the app interface has issues with the job applications going through altogether. Maybe remove the paywall and the review bombing will cease. If I could leave zero stars I would, really love that a bunch of tiktokers will do anything for a buck to give us fake stories for this brand.

Horrible UI. This looks vibe coded as all hell. The person did not at all account for android smart phones. Its difficult to read text as the scrolling function doesnt work. Very clunky as well. Another reason the scrolling not working is bad as I cant read the full email sent to me. This is horrible for a payment service plan.

saw a tiktok that mentioned this on passing, been trying to get a job for a while now so wanted to try a new platform, I will out my info and then see I HAVE to pay a subscription to use this application. I literally cannot afford an unnecessary subscription because I am unemployed and looking for work. Why would an app made to help people find a job cost money to use in the first place. At least LinkedIn is free to use with a "premium" model.

whenever I try to open the app it only works for a few seconds then freezes and kicks me out and I haven't even done anything yet. I've tried deleting and downloading but it still doesn't function like other apps which is rather disappointing

Don't even waste your time and money. This is the worst app ever and I mean every single word about that. I paid the monthly subscription which is a ridiculous amount, and then the app doesn't work at all. when I tried to filter it to the job tittle I want, it keeps bringing up jobs that I don't want. So this was a total waste of my time and money. I would not recommend this at all.

So many red flags. I first found out about this app while I was scrolling reels. All the comments on the reel were obviously bots. Anyways I downloaded the app to check it out and it starts throwing all these crazy promises at you that seem way too good to be true. Basically this whole app is propped up by bot farms and it's just a ploy to farm your data.

I would have loved more job options since I am a lab analyst/ technician or quality assurance/ control I didnt know which category to pick. Also I would suggest one starts by creating a profile and based with their information it would be easier to display and choose the job options.

Tbh 1 star is also too much. I purchased this app less than 3 hours ago, but it is stuck in a continuous loading loop and completely unusable. I have tried reinstalling and restarting my device, but the problem persists. I have contacted the developer for help but have not received a response yet. it's complete waste of time and money. Idts even I'd get refund or they ate money.

The cover letters need serious work. It was embarrassing to find out that the letter head had my website twice (since it has separate inputs for website and portfolio in profile) and the line break happened at a weird place. The heading was a completely different font than the cover letter content. Some of its form answers were bad or poorly formatted. Many applications failed. The ones that didn't fail, got rejected. Not a single interview out of the more than 50 applications I made.

Scam!!!! Job Seekers beware I’ve been using Sprout for several weeks now at $19.99/week and have applied to over 400 jobs through the platform. My applications were either never viewed or marked as “incomplete,” which is confusing because when I applied to the same roles outside of Sprout, I received interviews. the concept is nice but ripping people off that's looking for work is unacceptable

Having to pay before any semblance of results is ridiculous. $15 a WEEK is ridiculous especially after asking you to invite friends and rate the app before you even know if it works. The idea is great and I would love to save time trying to find a job, but I don't have money because I don't have a job. I should not be expected to pay without any idea if this will work. Even LinkedIn has their premium option, but at least you can try the platform for free before " wasting your money".

The idea and the fact that it works at all is cool, but the monetization is a rip-off especially when it isn't able to apply to half the jobs you ask it to, and your points go away if you don't use them. I was only able to use a dozen of the 50 I paid for, and the fact that they didn't really disclose that some jobs take 3 points before I purchased is also annoying. If you decide that you need to apply to jobs quickly and want AI to help, just start with the cheapest plan. Filters also suck.
