Tried to log into my health to check in for my appointment, told me I needed to update the app. I tried to update the app, and it's completely glitched out and I have now missed my appointment that I've been waiting 2 months for, and am likely going to have to wait 2 more for the reschedule. Really frustrated, and really disappointed.
Reviews for Stanford Health Care MyHealth
Ive updated my rating from 2 stars to four as the ap has had a lot of changes for the good. It now runs pretty seamless. I would still like to see the Dr.s notes have their own catagory. Currently I've not been able to access them except through clinking on a link in an email. Might be nice.
At least once, if not two or three times per session this asks you for precise location details. Questionnaire experience is pretty bad in terms of gatting progress behind medically unnecessary data harvesting, you are 100% asked all the same exact questions over the phone and in person. This is not a health care provider app, this is a data mining app collecting marketing information that happens to be used by a healthcare provider.
Good app for adults without children. Once your child reaches age 12+, you cannot see their after visit summary or any referrals/tests ordered for their privacy. This would be fine if they could access it, but you can't have an account until you're 18. It's very frustrating as I'm 17 so none of my family can see what my doctor orders/after visit summaries
This app reflects the unrivalled standards of the Stanford Healthcare organization. Its well designed In terms of layout and finding ones data is easy. The only issue is the difficulty in responding to messages as ones writing seems to float somewhere between 2 or 3 pages making it hard to complete the message.
This used to be a very useful app. In the last few weeks, it keeps crashing with the repeated message "Unfortunately, MyHealth has stopped" -- even when I haven't run it. If I do try to run it, it crashes immediately. Totally useless! Uninstalled.
First glimpse it looks like a nice and well thought out app. Once you try to use it, not so much anymore. When adding appointments to calendar, locations don't get carried over and you can't take screenshots. Makes it basically useless but on par with the service received from Stanford while trying to get your health taken care of.
Your app is much better than your in person service. After waiting for more than an hour, I was called, told I would not see my doctor for another hour or so in your vision clinic with Dr. Shue. This is a continual problem at this clinic. I travel from Sacramento to see Dr. Shue once each month. I've been doing this for almost three years. The clinic response is always the same and it's now just rude and unacceptable. One time I was not seen at all because it was after 6 pm on Fri. Ridiculous.
The app is great for keeping up with appointments, checking test results, etc. Last week my battery on my phone started dying very quickly. I finally checked a few days ago and was surprised to find it was the Stanford My Health app draining it. I checked setting and made sure it shouldn't be using battery in background. Gave it a couple days and same issue. Uninstalled and my battery is good as new today. Not sure what changed, but hopefully it is fixed soon.
This app is AMAZING! I use it all the time. It has everything right at my fingertips. I can check my doctor appointments, look up my medications, look up test results, read the doctors notes of my visits, and I can send texts directly to my doctor. All of this takes seconds compared to waiting on the phone, leaving a message, and waiting for a couple of days to maybe hearing back from someone. I love it!
