Description
I’ve been using Starbuilder 1e for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you plan out your character for the tabletop roleplaying game SFRPG first edition. You can export your character to a PDF character sheet, or just use it as an electronic character sheet. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of stuff.
Here’s what you do in Starbuilder: You pick from 12 different classes, like Biohacker or Witchwarper, and then customize your race, theme, abilities, and more. There’s also a bunch of gear and weapons you can equip. It’s got a ton of strategic depth without being too overwhelming.
Look, if you’re a fan of SFRPG 1e, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of Starbuilder. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times and there are ads if you don’t pay. But overall, it does the job and is worth checking out if you want a handy character builder tool.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Starbuilder 1e. I've tested a bunch of character creator apps and this one's pretty solid. The level of customization is great, with tons of classes, races, and themes to choose from. And i like that it can export to a PDF too, that's really convenient. On the downside, the UI feels a little dated and the ads can get annoying if you don't pay. But if you're a big SFRPG 1e fan, I'd definitely recommend giving Starbuilder a try.
