Been using the Statesman Journal app for a couple months now. It’s basically a local news app that covers everything from community events to high school sports. Pretty solid if you’re into staying up-to-date on what’s happening in your area.

There’s a ton of content here – you can read in-depth articles, check out photo galleries, and watch videos on the latest news. It’s got a clean, fast-loading interface that makes it easy to find the stories you care about. And the breaking news alerts are actually pretty useful, they’ll let you know about major local events as they’re happening.

Look, if you’re looking to stay connected with your community, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does a great job of delivering the news that matters most to your city. Worth checking out for sure.

So here's my take on the Statesman Journal app. I've tested a bunch of news apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The coverage is really comprehensive, you get everything from hyperlocal stories to in-depth investigations. The interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy to find and read the content you want. In my experience, the push notifications are also super helpful for staying on top of breaking news. On the downside, the ads can get a little intrusive, and the paywall for the e-paper is kinda annoying. But if you're looking for a go-to app to stay informed about your community, this is definitely one to consider.
