So here's my honest take on Steady Hands - tremor meter. I've tested a bunch of health/medical apps and this one's pretty solid. It's not the most polished app out there, but it gets the job done when it comes to tracking hand tremors. And the data and insights it brings are actually really helpful, way better than just relying on your own observations. I'd say it's a good tool to use alongside talking to your doctor about tremor management. Not gonna blow you away, but it works well for what it's designed to do.

Description

Been using Steady Hands – tremor meter for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that tracks your hand tremors and gives you detailed data on them. Pretty solid if you’ve got an essential tremor, Parkinson’s, or just general shaky hands.

Here’s what you do: there’s a few simple tests you run where you hold your phone and it measures the movements. And it’ll give you a bunch of stats on the severity, patterns, and triggers of your tremors. There’s also a cool feature where you can track your tremors over time and see if they’re getting better or worse. Took me a while to figure that part out but it’s pretty useful.

Look, if you’re dealing with any kind of hand tremor issues, you’ll probably find this app helpful. It’s not perfect – the UI is a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job of giving you objective data on your condition. Worth checking out if this is something you’re struggling with.
