Reviews for Stellarium Plus – Star Map

Works better than you would think. Also note if you are using a crop sensor APS-C camera then in the observing tools when you add camera information it accounts for the sensor size so if you are using a mount and full frame lenses you don't need to account for any mathematical corrections yourself

I managed to resolve the issue with the July 2025 update, where the app continuously failed. The samsung app store was causing this issue (not relevant that I never use Samsung apps). When I updated the samsung app store the problem disappeared. I have been a very satisfied user of Stellarium for more than 5 years

Stellarium is an excellent app for photographers, and anyone who is curious about the night sky! What I love about it is that I can go back in time to remind myself of which stars or planets I photographed. Stellarium is incredible, but Stellarium Plus's massive database opens up the universe with more stars and objects.

Very useful for astronomy. As a tip, I use it to align my equipment. I live in the southern hemisphere, I turn on the equatorial grid and I select the nearest star to the southern equatorial pole and then with the augmented reality feature y can enclose the two circles to align my equipment.

I had already paid for Stellarium Plus, and when I installed it to my tablet, installation process charged again for $20. Never happened before! Same account, both Android devices. I think you should refund me.

Recently moved into a small PA town with really terrible street and other dusk-to-dawn lighting. This app provides an excellent and quite accurate indication where in the sky to try and locate guide stars. Also accurately maps planets and deep sky objects. Really useful for the small telescope user. Very nice as a hand-held. Not sure how to choose whether app continues to track sky as I zoom in. Default seems to be lock position when zooming, so user can easily examine. Both models would be good

Setting for thickness of lines of constellations should be there, so that I can reduce the thickness. Right now it is bit much and it downgrades the experience. Please take a look at this issue, Sir 🙏

Very useful app. I'm generally happy with it. If possible, I would like to see a database that included cross references to older deep sky object designations.

omg!!! I'd been using the free version for years but lost the use of it when the Amazon app store shut 😡 so I thought I'd treat myself to the plus version.....it's soooo good discovering new thing that the free version didn't do all the time..... should have done this years ago!

fantastic app, just one minor issue, which has now been resolved. I totally recommend this app to any budding astro photographer's. It makes finding items in the evening sky so simple, which assists in planning your evening photo shoots. clear skies.
