Had to add my card info upon installing. Ya, I'm good. Immediate delete. Update: The comment from the developer below is false. I reinstalled the app and still hit the roadblock of needed my Google information with card details to continue regardless of using the free or premium services. I recommend that the devs & community response team check the app first before commenting. If this is changed and I enjoy 3 days without needing to input my card info, then I would love to try the app and pay.
Reviews for Stemz: AI Tool for Musicians
← Back to Stemz: AI Tool for MusiciansIt works, but it isn't perfect. There are similar applications available out there that can do better and for absolutely free without any limitations. Added after their feedback: Spleeter for Windows OS is totally free. It has no limitations of usage and sounds much better than Stemz.
I'm giving 3 because it's a good app. Fastest in processing time I've yet to use in an app like this. Much faster than Moises , way faster but @9.99 per month I don't feel any app like this is worth that much . If you don't mind the cost and looking for any easy to use app to make backing tracks or isolating certain instruments with very good quality results you will love it.
I found this app of off a tiktok add my first thought was hmm seems fake but ill try it anyways so I launch it and I try a song and to my surprise it works after some fun with it I went to do other things and later found another song I wanted to try but as soon as I launch the app hmm? What this I "You have used your free amount af attempts upgrade to premium to unlock more song customs" After one free attempt you need to pay $10 for other song customs come on at least let me watch an add for it
it's not the best but when it works? it works. since it's not the best. I'm definitely not paying for the subscription just to receive low quality. I don't know why anyone else would use this but I use it just for fun, playing around with it. I'm here because I saw your advertisement, thanks? I'm glad your advertisement didn't scam me from my time though. which is why I rate the highest rating.
Don't waste your time with this application. They would give you one free try to see how it works. After you selected a song of your choice they will intentionally select a different song and change the name misleading you and once the process is over they will reveal the song in your music library that they chose for you. Once you attempt to change/ correct the "error" by selecting the original song you chose they will try to force you to pay.
I used the app once and I am locked to editing one song until I upgrade to premium (which is a big no for me). Would you consider to at least allow free users to edit more than 1 song (like 25 songs) or just do the Old fashioned way (Watch at least 1 ad before unlocking a benefit / song) until then, I won't re-install the app again.
I wanted to test this with a song in my phone, but If I knew that I could only separate the instrumentals from the vocals on ONLY ONE SONG before HAVING TO PAY HEFTY TO EDIT MORE, I would have picked a different song. The app itself is free but the only thing you can do in it costs money. I AM DISAPPOINTED. I deleted my song hoping to pick a different one replacing the slot, but I couldn't replace it or even put it back without paying, now stuck with just the demo.Youre better off using som else
It's almost perfect for what I wanted to do thank you but 4 star because it's paid, it's fair but I'm poor, so my bad😅
No Free Version. App automatically promts you for a monthly subscription with a 3 day free trial at the front. There is no way to proceed without opting for either the free trail or the full subscription. None of us want subscription based apps anymore. After a quick search, there are fully free versions of this program. Uninstalled.
Cancelled subscription because the app would be worth a one time payment but is definitely not worth a long term subscription. If it was a one of payment for all features I'd happily buy but I'm not signing up to a subscription. Also, uploading a FLAC doesn't make the quality any better than MP3 and exports aren't simple. Had to figure out how to save tracks. Currently have to zip after export and unzip.
Pretty average. First thing it wants to do is sell you a premium subscription before you've even tried it out -immediate red flag. Free version is limited to 5 songs less than 5 minutes duration. Sound splitting is not that effective with a lot of bleeding across from other instruments. Overall, not very impressed.
Me downloading the free demo, I highly doubt that I'll be investing in this... Maybe the paid version has a better algorithm to process than this version but this DEFINITELY won't get me to pay for it 👀
This is a great app don't get me wrong, especially do take out/edit music volumes on local tracks... but personally, I think premium cost too much over 32 dollars a month 😐
its definitely not as good as it "shows" itself to be in the advertisement, but it's decent at best. It's definitely good if you want to polish up on your instrument skills, like taking out the drums and playing your own drums, or taking out the guitar and playing your own guitar, or taking out the vocals and singing it yourself. That's all it's really good for, because, if you want to use it on a professional level, I'd recommend just finding the stems and taking them out yourself.
This app has potential. I understand the technology is rather new, so I'm a bit forgiving on its imperfections. It pulls vocals very well. A bit of artifacting and audio ducking, but not much. Electronic music of any sort is a different story. It REALLY struggles with synths, bass, and sound effects. The software misidentifyies many instruments, and you end up with 90% of the sound being controlled by 1 or 2 sliders. I'm going to keep my eye on this app, but it's not quite there yet.
Only one song is allowed, then you have to pay 10$ a month. That's not a free trial like they are saying in the responses they are giving. If you are gonna do this, set a price on Google Play. Don't just advertise its free to use. Yall are false advertising with this. I've gotten many ads, and all of them says it's free to use.
While it's great for those who prefer to focus on the vocalist by turning off the music, I originally acquired this for instrumental enjoyment. Although it is indeed impressive, it falls short of my expectations. It may have been the best of its era, but I believe the technology still has some way to go. Update: It's improving! For those looking to enjoy instrumental music, the best advice is to maintain the vocalist's volume at a low level instead of eliminating it altogether.
UPDATE: Dropping my rating due to the newest version locking a lot of functionality and limiting the number of conversions behind a hefty paywall. There's not much to look at here. No complex settings, no complicated menus. You select a song, and off it goes. It's straight simple, and right to the point. You will get the occasional warble-y sound, or sounding like it's coming through a tin can, but this is the nature of the beast.
okay, as a audio/mix engineer, I have to say I'm very impressed. my job is to do the exact opposite, I take all the individual tracks and mix them together to make a stereo track. and the hardest thing to do is isolate sounds without changing other sounds that occupy the same frequency space. and to hear these tracks as if they are the actual stem tracks, I mean the tracks are full sounding, lack phasing and no bleeding from other tracks. very impressed.
