Reviews for Stock Events Market Tracker
← Back to Stock Events Market TrackerI use this app to quickly know the ex-div and earnings date but it doesn't display if the earnings is release before or after market hours. This would be a great feature to ad to the app. Update : they made the update quickly so now it is visible. Thank you so much!
Basic (free) plan is great for tracking monthly dividend payments. Will continue to explore other features before going pro. but so far... pretty good experience bring together my 3 portfolios.
I had an issue and submitted a ticket. got an automated response that "my request is being reviewed"....several weeks later and still no response. Decent app, but glad I didn't pay for it....seems to be zero support.
the Free version of the app works well for a limited number of stocks. you do feel short changed since you don't get all relevant info for the 15 stocks you are watching. there are cheaper alternatives to this app if you decide on the pro upgrade.
Overall really good, but the portfolio widget sometimes shows silly numbers (% changes are right but £ equivalent are nonsense). Fine when opening the app though. A cool development would be to include implied dividends on the dividend tab e.g. almost all accumulating ETFs have an distributing pair. Would be cool to match those up (or allow user to do so to save you a bit of effort) so you could see implied dividends for, say, if you'd chosen an accumulating S&P500 or Global government bond ETF
It's not perfect, some of the stock yield values seem a little odd (yield calculations out by a factor of 100). Also I find that some funds don't show a yield value at all, although they do show the dividend payments. Still, overall the subscription is quite good value.
It is a great app. I like being able to see my dividend income and total value across all portfolios. I would love to see some features for chart analysis and more in depth alerting. For example, send an alert when the prices crosses the 50 day moving average. Or when average volume crosses a certain barrier, etc. Maybe an AI analysis screener, etc. It would be amazing.
Don't pay money for this app. It's been broken for months. I continue to request support and get no action. Other than we'll get to it. They keep adding new features, but if the app itself is not functional, the new features are useless. There are many of my stocks that display no intraday values, which makes it useless to track my stocks throughout the day. This missing data then destroys the overview, making it zigzag. I paid for the pro version, but it seems no support is provided. Ripped off
The app itself is good. But the widgets become unusable when my phone is on dark mode... the text becomes invisible and the background remains bright white. If the widgets had theme support (for switching between light and dark mode automatically according to my OS) or even just a transparent background with text that didn't become invisible in dark mode, that would make this a 5 star app.
Awesome app. I check the calendar daily and love seeing when it's dividend paydays! One thing I would suggest, is giving users extra flexibility of purchases. I'm someone who doesn't want to commit to $35 a year for pro, but wouldn't mind paying a small, one-off payment for extra watchlist spots if that was an option.
Love it, but not worth $30. Great design, useful, user-friendly. However, companies pay anywhere from $0 to about $6 per share in dividends each year. So spending $30 per year on an app just to track them makes no sense unless you're earning thousands in dividends to account for the percentage this would eat into your earnings. As a benchmark, my total portfolio management fees at Betterment since 2019 is $20 and that includes div tracking. It would be awesome if the app was part of Play Pass.
This app is great! I like the that it breaks down the dividends if you have fractional shares. The UI is easy to deal with and you can edit which event feeds you can get so you can see the info that is most important to you. I use this app in concert with Robinhood, they are a great pair. The only thing I wish they had would be an option to tap the month in the dividend view that shows which ones come in that month (I had to write it on a separate piece of paper).
Decent app, though severely limited by the number of stocks it let's you track in the free version. That's the only thing I wanted the app for, and they have a simple functionality behind a paywall, which is beyond annoying. Edit: Lowering my score as their intended solution is garbage tier at best. Not everyone has people they can spam with referral messages. Not to mention, they never responded to any emails, as they said they would. Absolute trash.
Overall the application has lots of potential to be a great app for an investor, but recently I encountered one huge issue. $XLRE posted their dividends they will both be paying per share ($0.3823). But on the application it says the "Stock Events: Earnings. Dividends. Portfolio. News" application the dividend is $0.47. One thing I have known since getting into investing 1 single digit & or a single letter can result in a huge problem. I would understand being off 1 cent, but 9 cents?
While the developer, or whoever is involved with support, was quick to get my money to rectify my initial login problems last year, this year, when I emailed him for a menu option issue ( manage Subscription), I have not received any response whatsoever. Very disappointed. I wanted to change my review , because the developer contacted me and resolved my issue , in no time. Thank you
Pretty good despite annoying bug. When you add new transactions to existing holdings the app replaces the existing with new. You have to go back and adjust stock qty using the simple option. Update: I have been using this for about 3 months now, for the most part I like it but there are a couple of issues that really bug me. 1. you have 2 ways to add holdings to the App, Simple or Transactions. Simple only includes total shares and cost, transactions allows you to add each buy or sell transaction as you make them. You cannot switch between the two, if you use simple and lets say you input 100 shares, then later try to use transactions to show you added 10 shares at a specific price, the app will wipe out the simple entry and now it says you only have 10 shares. Same results if you do it the other way around. 2. The app randomly decided to stop adding up correctly, the only way to fix was to delete the app then reload and input all the data from scratch. 3. The dividend calculator is usually off by a bit, especially if you can only use the simple method to add stocks as it cannot tell if you owned the stocks on the EX-div date. Also recently they showed an estimated payout for a stock that had not announced a payout for January as they did two payouts in December, but it calculated the estimated into the dividend totals.
Great data displayed in a functional and pleasant manner. Really wish you could auto sync portfolios (plaid?) So I don't have to manually enter trades. Update: I actually don't mind it being manual and have given 5 stars. I do wish when adding transactions, when I tap on the price per share it highlighted the whole price. Currently it puts the cursor there I tap, then I have to move it to the end of the number to backspace everything out.
I've only just finished putting in my holdings for one portfolio. Seems like a cool app. Has a good amount of data even for the free version. However, I'd like the ability to have multiple portfolios to track. Since I don't really "see" my retirement portfolio dividends, I don't like tracking them with my every day portfolio dividends.
Love the app! Great to see my growing dividends from 2 portfolios in one place. It's easy to make decisions on what to buy with real time stock quotes. It has some great features; lists of low priced stocks, high dividend stocks, news, upcoming Ex-Dividend dates, Earnings, Dividend pay day! 💰 Recommendation: import option from popular brokerages so each stock doesn't have to be manually entered. Great job 👏 I'm looking forward to seeing some awesome updates/improvements in the future!
