So here's my honest take on Storyfolk. I've tested a bunch of writing apps and this one's a pretty solid option, especially if you're working on a fantasy project. The guided prompts and story planning tools are really helpful for getting your ideas organized. And the character builder is a nice touch, even if it's not the most robust I've seen. My only real gripe is that some of the features can be a bit unintuitive at first. But once you get the hang of it, Storyfolk makes the whole story planning process feel more streamlined and enjoyable.

Description

Been using Storyfolk for a couple months now. It’s basically a fantasy story planning app that helps you craft your worlds, characters, and magic systems in a really simple, intuitive way. No more getting lost in endless notes and complicated software – this app puts your creativity first.

Here’s what you do: you can use the guided prompts to outline your plot, write a story blurb, and track your word count. There’s also a character builder feature which is pretty cool. And you can even export your whole story plan as a pre-formatted guidebook. Took me a while to figure some of that out but it’s super useful.

Look, if you’re into fantasy writing, you’ll probably dig this app. It’s not perfect – the character builder can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want a cozy, fuss-free way to plan your next epic tale.
