So here's my honest take on Sun Position, Sunrise/set PRO. I've tested a bunch of photography apps and this one's pretty solid. The AR camera mode is super handy for planning shoots, and the map view is great for visualizing the sun and moon paths. The home screen widget is a nice touch too. It's not the most polished app out there, but it gets the job done. If you're into this kind of thing, I'd say it's worth a download.

Description

Been using Sun Position, Sunrise/set PRO for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that shows you sunrise and sunset times, as well as the path of the sun and moon throughout the day. Pretty solid if you’re into photography or just want to know when the best light is.

Here’s what you can do – there’s an AR camera mode that overlays the sun and moon positions, which is super handy for planning shoots. It’s got a map view too that plots the daily sun and moon path. And there’s a home screen widget that shows the sunrise/sunset times for the current day. Took me a while to figure some of that out but it’s all pretty useful.

Look, if you’re into photography or just like geeking out over this kind of stuff, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out, especially if you can get the full version on sale.
