So here's my honest take on SuperChinese: Learn Chinese. I've tested a bunch of language learning apps and this one's up there with the best. And the AI-powered features like spaced repetition and animated lessons are super helpful, and I like how it covers reading, writing, speaking, and listening. It's not as comprehensive as some of the pricier apps, but for a free app it's pretty darn good. Only real downside is it can get monotonous after a while, but taking breaks helps with that.

Pros

  • Uses AI to help you learn faster and remember better
  • Covers all aspects of Chinese - speaking, reading, writing, listening
  • Gamified lessons make it more fun than a typical language app
  • Free to download and use, don't have to spend money

Cons

  • Lessons can feel repetitive if you use it for hours on end
  • Might be overwhelming for total beginners with no Chinese experience
  • Ads can be annoying if you don't upgrade to the paid version

Description

Been using SuperChinese: Learn Chinese for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that uses AI to help you learn Mandarin faster. Pretty solid app if you’re trying to pick up some Chinese.

Here’s what you do: there’s these lessons that cover stuff like pronunciation, vocabulary, and even writing the characters. It’s got a bunch of different learning methods like animated videos and spaced repetition to really drill it in. And the app gamifies it all so it’s actually kinda fun.

Look, if you’re trying to learn Chinese, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the lessons can get a little repetitive after a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to start speaking Chinese.

Update -1 star. The beep sound after the user enters an audio recording is too loud. Can't use the app with other people close by or in quiet environments. Really...
