Been using SuperCook – Recipe Generator for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that shows you recipes you can make with the ingredients you already have at home. Pretty solid if you’re into cooking and trying new dishes without having to run to the store.
Here’s what you do: you just tell it what’s in your fridge and pantry, and it’ll pull up a bunch of recipes you can make right away. And there’s also a feature where you can scan your grocery receipts and it’ll keep track of what you’ve got. And if you’re like me and tend to let stuff go bad, there’s a tool that tells you how to use up ingredients before they expire.
Look, if you’re always trying to figure out what to cook, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – sometimes the recipe suggestions are a little weird – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on SuperCook - Recipe Generator. I've tested a bunch of cooking apps and this one's pretty solid. The concept is super useful - no more staring at the fridge wondering what to make. And the interface is easy to use and the recipe suggestions are usually pretty good. But it's not without its flaws. The recommendations can be hit or miss sometimes, and the grocery tracker isn't as robust as I'd like. Still, for a free app, it's a really handy tool to have in your back pocket.

I TELL (as in, no typing, I just narrate ingredients aloud) this app what's in my fridge and pantry, and it gives me 2,000 (filterable! searchable!) recipes, using those ingredients!...
I always have a hard time making recipes unless I have overflowing cupboards, but groceries are so expensive and this has really helped me stretch out our staple ingredients more....
