Reviews for Sygic GPS Truck & Caravan

Decent app, but a some observations and requests. First of all the speed limits are 50/50 as to accuracy. Then this thing is trying to send me down a small dirt road instead of the perfectly safe one I'm on... It clearly doesn't understand the difference between a commerical vehIicle and a motorhome. I would also like to be able to select the shortest route, I don't have that option, just fastest and local road, etc. Good luck finding a link to email support about issues

I just purchased the premium package for trucks and am very disappointed. I bought the Android Auto version also and it is a lousy interface. The tiles are too large and cover too much of the map and each other. I have attached a picture of the Android Auto screen for reference. Also the Android Auto screen only displays Kilometers, all of my settings are set to miles. I was excited for the Android Auto interface but was very disappointed with the experience.

I tried this app for the trial week and was not too impressed. At times it almost has too much information and at times, not enough. It would say I was in a no passing zone when it was the other direction that was. The speed limits are not accurate either. There was a few occasions where it told me to turn left but there was a center island or median. The freeway interchanges are not all accurate either. There was a couple occasions where it told me to merge when it was too late.

One trip and done. Worked great for first trip. Will not find next location in California. When you speak directions it can't find an address with "parkway" spelled out, but if I type in the address with Pkwy it finds it but will not navigate to it. I get an error. I'm at loading dock of first trip. It shows me off road, but even if I change starting point to entrance here it still doesn't work. Also.... And this is big. Doesn't show only truck stops. Shows all gas stations. No good for big rig.

I would gladly purchase your app license. If you fixed its GPS problems.. which is literally the entire backbone of navigation. it gives ZERO traffic updates, which is one of your selling points. It takes 5 minutes or more to connect to the steps. If you swap apps to check texts or phone call, it loses GPS signal, and puts you off course.. i took a few screen recordings of this. Every other GPS app I have connects within 30 seconds.... not yours. Fix it, I'll buy it.

I've purchased a lifetime premium service for sygic truck GPS and lately, the app will not allow me to navigate to locations that I've been navigating to since I've punched the service. Each time I select common locations, the app shows blue and will not navigate, but it will only navigate to locations that do not need to route. This app has become very glitchy.

Decent. My main issues are: it wants to route me down a neighborhood street that I can't make the turn and trucks aren't allowed, Bluetooth never works even though everything is enabled and allowed, doesn't say the exit number rather (head towards hospital), doesn't say the route numbers or street names, most times it routes longer and out of the way vs CoPilot, Hammer or Garmin. If those issues were fixed, I would purchase the yearly plan.

App is OK. The app tells me wrong information sometimes. For instance "get in the left two lanes. Then get in the right lane to take exit such and such". It would be tremendously helpful if the app warned of accidents ahead, construction and detours ahead and to give a safe alternative route ahead of time. Also alerts ahead of time of closures of tunnels and bridges. Needless to say I drive in Boston and if I don't know my route ahead of time, I'm not 100% confident this app will get me there.

In short it is a poor trucking app that needs a lot of work. There isn't much as far as good trucking GPS but this is ok. Biggest problem is it shuts down and freezes up at crucial times. If I can't pull over I am off track for miles. Turning a truck around can take up to an hour and it's not fun. No response from support even though I have reported the problems several times. For some reason it thinks that the quickest way is through small towns with many lights and traffic. Sometimes it will tell me to exit off the freeway and then it will tell me to get right back on after I had gotten off. Speed limits are almost always wrong. I report them but they stay wrong. It had me going in circles one time because it thought a road was restricted to trucks but it wasn't restricted until after my stop. Sometimes it tells me to turn down streets not big enough for a truck even though my dimensions are input in. But I have tried many truck GPS and they all have flaws. I paid the most for this one so I am really upset. I definitely won't renew if the problem of freezing and shutting down aren't fixed. I almost been in accidents because of this thing shutting down at crucial turns and interchanges. I wouldn't recommend wasting any money on this. Google is so much more accurate and free. Just watch the no truck signs and low bridges cause you have to do that with this anyway.

Installed this and bought the RV license. The app is practically useless. Most RV Parks I want to navigate to won't even show up in the search results even if enter the exact address. When plugged into the head unit (Android Auto) it will only display distance in Kilometers despite the regional settings in the app being set to Miles / Feet. Half the time, the Chrome extension won't send the map to my phone. Complete waste of $80 for the license. Wish I could get a refund. Stay away from this.
