The app was okay but we need to find a way to unlock all the steps for free by watching advertisement (as long as there's no forced ad) and aside from that, the ui was great and can solve math problems

Sign in with Google is not working on the android app. my phone has no issues with any other Google login except this app. I thought it was fixed? please address. fyi: this phone is an S24 and doesn't work with login with Google. my other phone and S9 also does not login with Google. there is an issue. edit 9/2: my app is up to date but still not working. two separate phones are having the same issue. galaxy S9 and S24
won't let you cancel subscription, takes money before end of three days free trial, very poor mathematical results. do not even consider installing. will have to cancel bank card to stop payment!
the first year was good. now it never works with math problems. so I quit my subscription.
Love the app! So good in helping in maths. It also has a periodic table, an advanced mathematical calculator. I recommend you to install this app if you want to check your maths answer with show working without membership. You can access its camera feature, advanced keyboards, etc. in free. Thank you SYMBOLAB for making this app.
I have tried to cancel this for two years, and I can not reach anyone or get a refund. Reporting as fraud after 24 hours of this year's request to cancel. It is such a hassle to change subscriptions to a different card because of this company stealing my money.
The app is great, never had problems with the calculations and the steps make learning incredibly easy. This review WOULD be 5 stars, however I can't recommend it to new users now that you have to pay a subscription for steps. I don't think paying a subscription is nearly worth it, as there are other free calculators online that can do everything this app can do.
I'm so glad I found this app. I like to check my work for math due to having dyslexic/dyscalculia, and Symbolab does this near-perfectly! Sometimes the steps they show can cause more confusion, but overall this is an excellent app for checking your work and learning how to solve many different equations and calculations. Little bit of a learning curve on how to input your equation, but after that it is very user-friendly!
It's a fantastic app and works really well for showing problems with full steps and everything but I don't appreciate how you have to pay for features on mobile that you can get for free on the desktop website, I get that an app developer needs to make money somehow but it doesn't seem fair. Also going on the website in desktop mode on a phone doesn't work either so that's not an option.
Good app, but they keep charging me after I've tried to stop my pro membership. I've emailed about the issue and canceled through the Play Store. I got no response, and I still got charged. When I go to the "Manage Subscription" page in the app itself, it says I'm going to be charged again on the 15th... I don't recommend.
Can't use the website on mobile. Instead, they force this clunky garbage that's hard to navigate and doesn't have the right materials. If you want to unlock "features" and more complex problem types, they make you pay for it with a subscription, it's not even a one-time purchase. There are also ads that get in the way. So if you want the worst calculator app with the greediest devs, who honestly don't deserve any of the money they're charging for a simple, low quality app, then this is it.
Inconsistent and scammy. The app itself is very easy to use, but rarely correct, and instead of telling you it doesn't know how the app just does bad math which is much worse. You can pay for a subscription to see the broken steps it uses to complete the math, but this doesn't get rid of the adds, doesn't help with the math in any way, and costs entirely way too much, not to mention this app is practically impossible to cancel. It took me well over four hours to cancel.
Almost perfect. There's quite a learning curve that needs to be climbed before deep diving into the calculator, but it is able to complete almost anything you throw at it. Some improvements: The camera needs a lot of work. It works maybe 20% of the time on calculus problems typed out. If it worked more like mathway where it takes a still picture and then processes it, I could see it improving. Showing the radius of convergence on series answers would be nice. Dark mode needs the cursor changed
Clicking the desktop site forces you into the app store. The keyboard they created is really annoying to navigate, and the steps to the problem are locked behind a paywall. I use the site on my desktop all the time, its a lifesaver of a site. Its free but I would gladly pay money to use that. I am never going to pay money for this awful app.
The application is great but billing is another story!!?? I subscribed to the Universal Annual Subscription (Symbolab: Math Problem Solver), just to discover that you have been billing me on a monthly basis the amount due for the Annual subscription which is $42.64 (Google Play Store). So, since November 8, 2023 , my credit card has been debited 3 times: $42.64 * 3 = $127.92 Now I had to cancel my subscription completely and I expect a full refund. Thank you for your understand
The step by step breakdown of the equations is a game changer for me. It's the handful of times when it's far off base that are vexing. Even when I try selecting the correct type of equation or fixing one that scanned incorrectly, it is sometimes still completely wrong. Those are frustrating, but given how awesome it is otherwise, it's still easily a 4.5-5 star app. I would recommend it to any College Algebra student who struggles. As a study tool, it's phenomenal!
This is the most impossible to cancel subscription I have ever seen. The terms of use say, "click the words 'cancel membership'", which exist neither on the app or the website. horrible customer service on the phone. They're the best calculator, sure... but if you give them money, they'll make it impossible to cancel.
The desktop version is free and offers more. It shows the steps to obtain said solution. Then you guys have the audacity to say "It's only $0.99 to subscribe." That's unacceptable. If you want to use the free version on your phone (Chrome on Android OS), click the settings button in your browser, scroll down in the settings, and check the 'desktop site' button.
I was really impressed at first. But there is no way that I could find to enter a VERTICAL LINE. I was trying to graph sets and there was no way for me to enter: " {x|x>-2} and {x|x
