Reviews for Symfonium: Music player & cast

Fantastic app to use with subsonic. I use it with Navidrome. so many great options and features, and now I can have it on my TV OS too, which is a welcome update. unfortunately it needs full configuration from scratch (restored mobile backups break it into portrait mode) so hopefully in the future there will be some basic sync to get your sources moved over without having to type URLs and credentials. but that's a minor thing

Amazing app. My current setup is to just rip CDs to flac and auto sync to my phone with syncthing. This plays the local files fine. You can also setup a server and add to the app to stream. Recently learned about AutoEQ and it really boosted the sound quality of my headphones on my Linux system. So I was delighted to see AutoEQ built into this player. Really cool. Solid experience and worth paying for. Crazy the price was so low considering all of the features included.

Hands down, the best audio player on Android. Symfonium is incredibly versatile while remaining easy to use. The amount of options available can be overwhelming at first glance, but it truly allows you to have a music player that does exactly what you want it to. The EQ is amazing and has configurations for every major speaker/headphone.

THE music app for audio power users. Offers an incredible array of EQ options - more than I've ever seen for an Android music app. Other important (to me) features include a full set of casting options, cloud storage integration with Google Drive and One Drive, and a ridiculously customizable interface. There are also some cool auto-mix functions that work pretty well. In particular, the "decade" mix is great for someone who has a library of music spanning the 1920s to the 2020s.

I put this app aside while trying others for my Subsonic server because I was trying to prefer open source, but there's no contest, this is the definitive app for your music server. I bought it before even finishing the trial! Suports casting, WearOS, Android Auto, offline download... I could go on. The others don't hold a candle. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

This is the greatest app ever made. It's extremely user-centric, the app is minimally-opinionated and the user has the option to change almost anything that they want to fine-tune it to the experience that they want. I use it with a navidrome server, and it supports at least most of the server features, and literally all of the features I want. It works great with android auto. It takes a little configuring to get it just right, but that's a huge pro and not a con to me. 11/10

this is by far the best music player app that I have used! it's a one time charge I will say that to keep using it but it's worth it! especially for those that have downloaded music on their devices for offline play. we can't always be tethered to the Internet especially when traveling, so that makes streaming services unavailable. this is the answer to those woes. great if you have a large collection of music.

I've been using the trial for nearly a week and I gotta say that this is hands down the best music application for your own personal music you have on your computer, phone, or server. i believe a full license (forever I think too) cost somewhere in the realm of 5 dollars and once the trial is done, I'm going to absolutely buy it and recommend my friends to get it too, which is weird because I'm going to IRL tell them about it and show them. There are so many neat, nifty, and helpful features.

Hands down: The BEST Music player on android OMG. I tried so many apps. I can find enough reasons to dislike almost every other music app on here, I have tried so many. Symfonium is clean, lots of features, easy to navigate, plus extra stuff like changing speed and tone on the fly. It's also not full of ads. Best music player I could find across 10+ years.

Best audio player I've ever used. Offline caching is no joke. Can import your existing SMB shared playlists onto your phone, cache the playlist, AUTOMATICALLY KEEP IT SYNCED, and take it into the car with you. Also now works on Sonos speakers, including grouped sets. Invaluable to anyone who manages their own music collection. Haven't found any other Android audio player that even comes close.
