Description
Been using Taber’s Medical Dictionary for a couple months now. It’s basically a super detailed medical reference with over 75,000 terms, photos, audio pronunciations, and more. Pretty solid app if you’re a healthcare professional or just really into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you can do: look up medical terms, get info on treatments and procedures, check drug info, and even watch videos. There’s also a bunch of other useful stuff like alternative therapies, abbreviations, and measurement units. Took me a while to explore all the features but it’s a pretty comprehensive tool.
Look, if you work in the medical field or just want a top-notch medical dictionary, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a reliable reference on the go.
Editor Opinion
I've tested a bunch of medical reference apps and Taber's is one of the better ones. The sheer amount of information packed in here is really impressive - you're getting an incredibly detailed dictionary plus all these extra resources. And in my experience, the search works well and the content is quite thorough. Sure, the UI could be a bit more polished, but it gets the job done. If you need a comprehensive medical dictionary, this is definitely worth the download.

Just like the book. Very easy to use
Downloading Tabers was difficult. I used this dictionary in optometry school. Too bad, it won't load in my device
