Been using TAG Mobile for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you get free phone service through the Lifeline program. Pretty solid if you qualify for that kind of thing.
Here’s what you can do in the app: you can apply for the Lifeline service, upload documents, and track your approval status. And there’s also stuff to manage your account – you can check your data/minutes, add more 5G data, and turn on international calling. Took me a bit to figure all that out but it’s useful once you get the hang of it.
Look, if you’re eligible for the Lifeline program, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need free phone service.

So here's my take on TAG Mobile. I've tested a bunch of apps like this and this one's pretty solid overall. The process of applying for Lifeline service is straightforward and the in-app tools to manage your account are helpful. That said, the UI does feel a little dated and it can be confusing to navigate at first. But once you get the hang of it, it's a reliable way to get that free phone service if you qualify.
