Terrible experience with the use of the online payment, I payed online but my order was not placed the app just stopped and then restarted. I went to check my bank account I saw I wad charged the full amount, while no food was delivered. What was even worse than all of this, I couldn't reach to customer service. No matter how much I looked around in the app there was no way to complain. I wrote them an email to request a refund and an explanation and was ignored too

Very bad help service....I placed an order and paid already online. Then I received different weight of the item with much less price (when I already paid higher amount). I tried to contact their help and their replies doesn't introduce any kind of help. First they didn't even check the photo I attached with the price label. Then, when they realized the issue...they replied just to make sure to not happen again without refunding or any kind of actual solution.
Very disappointing service! Their "live tracking" is not accurate at all. The driver stayed in the same location for over 30 minutes. I tried calling but got no answer. The customer service agent was unhelpful and even redirected me to the main page to prevent me from leaving feedback. Stop asking customers to email complaints! If you truly care about service recovery, you should be the one taking the initiative to contact and resolve the issue, not the other way around!
Very Disappointed with Talabat I placed an order with a 25–35 min delivery time, but after over an hour, the driver hadn’t even reached the store. I contacted support, but the chat was unhelpful, and my order was eventually cancelled. No explanation, no compensation, and terrible service overall. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.
One of the worst delivery apps to ever exist! The customer service is so poor, there is no customer care number to contact for immediate help, you always have to wait around to get monotonous replies via "chat", and there's a problem with almost every order. The overall user experience of the app is also not up to the standard. The only option for a wrong/missing/damaged item is to issue a refund, there's never an option to replace! We order food for a reason, to eat & not to get our money back!
I’m a Talabat Pro subscriber and my recent delivery came late. As per your app, if an order is more than 15 minutes late, the customer should receive a 15 QAR compensation. My order was delayed beyond that, but I only received 10 QAR. When I called customer support, they were completely unaware of what the app states and told me their system only allows a 10 QAR compensation and that nothing more could be done. This is misleading and feels like fraud
I had more time issues with the Talabat delivery. On the app, it's very complicated to get any contact with customer service, once you get connected, they don't solve my problem and don't refund my money. Also, the delivery people are not well-trained in how to communicate with customers. Once a delivery boy requested money for my delivery even though I had paid, when I told him that I had paid 🤷♀️ he told me that my delivery was heavy and that I had to pay him and I always pay tip on the app
dumbest app to ever exist. I subscribed to talabat pro and the driver wanted me to come pick up the order. Also, I get a monthly mastercard voucher that I use from time to time and on my last order it showed that it was applied but they deducted the money without the discount claiming that I don't know how to apply it like it's my first day using a mobile device and there customer service is literally non existing. Breadfast is much more superior, maybe they should learn from them how to serve.
Terrible experience! Worst delivery app. I waited for my order for almost 2 and a half hours and the rider took the food away from the location. And then I received a call after 3 hours from the higher support just to tell me that the rider did not get the food order from the restaurant. So the agents lied to me the whole waiting time!!!!!! Worst delivery app, support and everything is worst!!!!!!!
I am writing to raise a complaint about an issue I faced recently. I placed an order and went to the specified location to pick it up, only to discover that the restaurant's address was incorrect and it wasn't actually at the location provided. This caused me a significant waste of time and effort, and frankly, it has reduced my trust in the app.
Placed an order, but the item wasn't delivered. Took around 45 minutes to get someone on chat support, and then I was informed that the order did not get placed, even though it showed that it did on my app. Had similar problems before, which is why I ended up canceling the subscription.
I thought Talabat Pro (29 AED/month) would save me money. Instead, it’s like subscribing to more fees. Free delivery? only if you spend 50 aed minimum. Then comes the service fee, the delivery fee, and probably a “sunlight tax” next. By the time I check out, I’ve spent more than if I just walked downstairs and bought the food myself. Honestly talabat doesn’t deliver meals anymore, they deliver fees, fees, fees. I was a client for 1 year and cancelled last month. trying the others.
Worst platform ever. Talabat charges you the full amount, and only after payment do they tell you that some items are out of stock. The worst part is—they never refund you! It feels like a scam. Totally unprofessional and frustrating experience. I’m uninstalling the app and will never use it again.
I had a frustrating experience with Talabat. I received the wrong order, and the restaurant manager told me to deal with Talabat. Talabt's support was unhelpful, sending generic replies and falsely claiming I hadn't paid. I did pay—and got the wrong items. On top of that, Talabat charges more than the restaurant, despite claiming price matching. I paid extra, got the wrong food, and no real help. Very disappointing. I recommend ordering directly from restaurants to avoid this mess.
The app makes far too many mistakes. Very often, customer service tells the user to pay for their order and guarantees they will send someone to fix it, which they never do. Once they guarantee your money, they don't care. Delivery drivers are scared of getting in trouble, so you often have to follow their so called procedure after fearing that the already struggling delivery driver will take the fall from cancelling the order, or just not paying for the missing items. Uninstalled!
They are good until you face a problem with them, and then you discover how bad their customer service is. My first order was a meal that came missing an item. I contacted them and they fixed it by refunding the missing item. Then on my fourth order, again, it came with a missing item. This time, they kept marking the case as resolved despite the many reviews of the restaurant saying order come often with missing items. It seems you get to complain only once. After that, you have no right to.
Update, there's been a big increase in pop-ups, open the app pop-up, choose category food pop-up, make an order choose basket pop-up, make payment pop-up, check status pop-up. I need to avoid 5 clickbaits to make a simple order, it's very annoying. -- old --, app runs much better, but pricing is still not cool. -- old -- App crashes a lot, fails discount calculations and expensive. "Service fee"? As if you don't already get a good cut from restaurants
I have been using this app for a very long time, at least 2 years now, and today I just had enough I deleted my account even though I just paid for my pro subscription last week. I've had multiple orders getting cancelled with no reason whatsoever and then after going through endless hoops to contact support (which for some reason is extremely difficult) all they say is: We're very sorry, please go ahead and order again. Please for the sake of your sanity stay away from this application.
There seems to be an issue with the app The delivery time displayed is incorrect, and even after an order is accepted, it doesn’t reflect in the app. Additionally, when reaching out to customer support via chat, multiple calls are made instead of resolving the issue directly on chat, which is inconvenient. The app appears to have some bugs; kindly have this checked with the IT team at the earliest.
