Terrible service. I called 3 times because my transfer wasn't going through. It's clear that everyone was just reading from a script. Never using taptap Send again. It's a shame because it was my go to remittance app. Then within one week I've had to call 5 times because transactions remained pending both to Ghana and Nigeria. Both time I was told the issue is with their local partners. So in the space of a few days you were having issues with both local partners?Take responsibility. Terrible.

Taptap has better FOREX rates than other money transfer platforms and banks. I always compare it with my different bank accounts, and Taptap always gives the best rate. The app is easy to use (with no unnecessary ads and notifications) and they actually send statements every month, which is new to me for money transfer platforms. 🙌 I'm really liking it.

I had recently stopped using this app because I downloaded it to send money without transfer fees. Through my last transfer 5 days ago. They charge $1.99 transfer fees. Now I stepped using this app. They claim there there no transfer fees on Taptap. Then why they are now charging extra fees. Frustrated and disappointed from them now.

This is the best app I ever use for sending money in my home country thanks, easy to use easy to understand....... (08-10-2025 this is not fair now you add chargers on transactions, now you guys can't claim that this is only the best app for money transfer (it was) because the same options are available on other platforms I was the most loyal person in the taptap and they can check my history but now I've to move on to other platforms........ I verified my account. I have an actual banking account. yet I'm Suspended after one transaction to my fiance who have been with for 7 years. when I asked for a review they referred me to their terms of service which which have multiple different reasons in there. None of them by the way apply to me. I cannot recommend this app

Before it was very good when we sent a small amount below 500aed there was no charge and a good rate as well but now they took an extra charge on every transaction so I recommend all people to uninstall this app and download another trusty app there is no charge . please remove the applied rate for sending money if you can it's request from all foreigners. You just imagine if a person has only 700 AED his salary how he can send all money to home so please be kind to your customer .

Since I've been using this app for over a year and have made numerous transfers, I would give it a three. The application has now begun to operate. I just noticed that the free charge policy was modified and that there was no longer a charge cap..

a friend introduced it to me. first few transfers were swift and delivered in minutes. but the real test of a system is when challenges occur. how prompt they resolve them. it's been over a week now taptap send failed to deliver fund to recipient account and does not have answers about the whereabouts of the money. Do not expect them to resolve a failed transfer swiftly. Mine is over 7 days so far no hopes.

I’ve been using this app for a long time to send money, but recently I’ve noticed the rates are very low. They also charge 6 AED when sending less than 700 AED, which feels unfair. Since the exchange rate and app rate are almost the same now, I’ve decided to stop using TapTap and will transfer my money through a bank or exchange instead. not using this app anymore till they are not reverse the aed 6 charges to send the money good by

Not even made a single transaction, and they suspended my account. Initially, my bank wouldn't allow the money to go through as it deemed suspicious to them. Upon resolving the issue with my bank; Taptap suspended my account for no reason. Tried getting hold of them a couple times and was assured of a quick resolution, which didn't happen.

Hi, I have a reservation with the introduction of a fee of about €0.99 for transactions below €170. you see, remittances don't work that way, and one is constantly sending amounts with the time and purpose, so mostly below €170 and this will cause a big shift from using this platform for regular transactions. I really wish they could have remained fee-free and didn't run for the money. Now, everyone will look for other platforms for better transfer rates with low or No fee & are right to do so.

Everything is fine, there are some bugs in the app, it needs to be corrected, for example, when we send money, the m oney reaches the receiver but after a few hours in Taptap it shows that your money has been transferred, whereas the money would have reached within half an hour, very confusing bugs in Taptap app, correct it, everything else is fine, thank you.

Customer service contradicts what the website says. I would not trust them. Update: I have sent an email to cancel/close my account and no response. I have called and no response. Their 2 minutes waiting time is not true. Is is weird not to have a clear and transparent way to cancel/close the account. They make it almost impossible. And they are keeping personal information with no reason. I want out and they do not allow me to.

It is very easy to use the App, and the transfer is relatively fast. How to use the wallet to receive money still proves a difficulty, because the account details to be used for that is nowhere to be found. Moreover, the App don't yet offer an opportunity of making a transfer with other currencies, outside the country of origin, which is somehow a barrier.

I had no idea there is some app that could be so efficient to transfer money in a blink of an eye! I transferred money to my home country and they received it instantly. Moreover the rates are so much better than the bank. I hope this service continue to be like this, thank you! Update on 02oct2025. Why the transfer fee is applied in less than 700aed transaction? that makes no difference what the exchage rates are. Its better we send from our bank free of charge, with minor rate difference.

The WORST experience! I have used multiple apps and this is so far the worst of them all. Customer service is only available 8-5 Eastern time. I have called during those hours, kept on hold only to be told to call back later, and the call disconnected after being on hold for over 25 min. I've had a transaction pending transfer for over 2 days, and when I asked them to cancel, they ignored my request. They completed the transfer on day 3 after I had already sent via other means.

The start on using the app was great. They offer competitive rates, and the funds arrived to recipients if not in seconds, at the most in several minutes. This last large transfer has been a large letdown. I transferred funds as usual, but the funds have now been processing for over 5 days. When I call customer service, they read the same scripts about having technical issues with their partners. I can't get a resolve date, and I can't get my money back. My money is in limbo. What to do?

I love their rates, but convenience wise, no. I learned the hard way when my sister passed away and I needed to send down payment to the catering service. They took $800 from my account but on the app, the transfer stayed pending. I had to send the same amount using another app because it was urgent. I emailed, called, Whatsapped, cried, vented, lol. Eventually I was refunded the amount, way after burial. I don't always have a problem with the smaller amounts that's why I gave 4 stars

I've had a positive experience in terms of ease of transfers.I have used for over a year now. Usually processed within minutes. Only once was a transfer delayed, but it ended up processing after a few hours. I don't know if the rate is competitive. I'd have given it five stars if they'd show the identity of the sender to the receivers. Recipients are indicate that they aren't shown who sends money to them whenever I make a transfer. Please include sender name when you process the transfers.
