ever since they got rid of the designated registry app, there's no way to add items to a registry from the app. There's no button to do that anywhere. within the registry section, if you click "add items" it will give a button to add the suggested items, but if you click on sections within that or search, your only option is add to cart. it's very frustrating & has caused me to turn to Amazon registry for Christmas & child birthdays, even though I like target's children's clothing.

Why does the screen keep going to sleep while I'm actively scanning items? It's so aggravating! I can't scan more than 2 MAYBE 3 items before the screen goes to sleep on me. It actually seems to go to sleep FASTER while using the app than by just setting the phone down. What's the point? Also, it still shows you ads while opening, which is really awkward while people are waiting to check out, and I'm just standing at the register watching an ad. Thanks, Target. Your devs should be fired.

Lots of weird bugs that should have been fixed long ago. The one that is currently irking me the most is that there is a dedicated "wallet" section of the app where you can supposedly add your Target Circle Credit/Debit card for easy payment. I have never been able to add my card. it doesn't even give me an error message I can reference, it simply pretends to add the card and then doesn't. Has been this way as long as I've had the app.

The app is good for finding items in store and ordering online for pick-up. My issue now is that I get an error when trying to enable/apply my saved gift cards. Please fix this, thanks. UPDATE: (9/8/25) GIFT CARD ERROR STILL THERE AFTER LATEST UPDATE Version 2025.35.0.Its insane how one update broke a feature that hasn't been fixed in months. 👎

I miss the days when I could just add the Circle deals I actually wanted and could use. Then, it changed and they added most of them automatically so it cluttered my deals. Now, with this new update, I can't even locate Target Circle. WHY MAKE IT SO FREAKING COMPLICATED??!! It is NOT user friendly, and it makes me want to NOT shop Target at all. PLEASE UNCOMPLICATE IT!!

The newest update with the search bar at the bottom and the swipe to remove/save for later in the cart are horrible, inefficent updates. I have scrolled like normal and removed several items from my cart. I even had my boyfriend test scroll and it deleted items because of how sensitive it is. It's incredibly frustrating and is going to end up with me not buying what I need. Please go back to the old app version or I'll just stop using target pick up altogether.

All this App does is glitch & crash. I can't even get to my account after I was forced to delete & reinstall because all the searches kept glitching and wouldn't refresh. Now after logging in there is no way for me to choose "my store" and it won't let me get past the "choose a store option" and keeps throwing up an error. Even though "my store" should already be saved by default and there's no way around this step.

New updated ruined the app & shopping experience! The deals and coupons section is awful and I can not easily find or add the actual circle deals I used to use. Very disappointed and I haven't made a purchase since the new version rolled out. I was hoping the app would go back to the old version by now. I guess I will shop elsewhere.

Deals don't always work. Buy 4 purchases of $75, Buy 3 $150 purchases.. Do this, do that.. Earn gift cards. Except sometimes you do it, and it DOESN'T validate. I made purchases one time to specifically get the rewards only to be told by the help center they couldn't help me. I made the purchases. Those are recorded clear as day. But all they could offer was I wasn't within the "required dates". Nope! The offer was ON my APP. You can't tell me the offer is invalid. Don't chase the rewards.

1) Wallet section constantly asks to verify the account; says to "check this box" to reduce sign-ins ... but there is no box to check! 2) the "add a gift card" feature doesn't work - it shows one has been added, but then never is applied to your total. All in all, this is a pretty useless app except to view the weekly ads. I want to support Target, but the company makes it far too hard. My "Target runs" are fast turning into Walmart runs -- I never thought I'd say that.
