Been using TaxiController Driver for a couple months now. It’s basically a professional taximeter app that uses your phone’s GPS and sensors to calculate fares. Pretty solid if you’re a taxi driver or work for a cab company.
Here’s what you do: you can set up different tariffs for your region, track your mileage and time, and it’ll automatically calculate the fare. There’s also an option to print receipts, which is pretty cool. And you can sync your data across multiple devices – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re a taxi driver, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re looking to ditch the old hardware taximeter.
