Been using TaxiController Driver for a couple months now. It’s basically a professional taximeter app that uses your phone’s GPS and sensors to calculate fares. Pretty solid if you’re a taxi driver or work for a cab company.
Here’s what you do: you can set up different tariffs for your region, track your mileage and time, and it’ll automatically calculate the fare. There’s also an option to print receipts, which is pretty cool. And you can sync your data across multiple devices – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re a taxi driver, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re looking to ditch the old hardware taximeter.

So here's my honest take on TaxiController Driver. I've tested a bunch of taxi/ride apps and this one's definitely one of the better ones. The GPS-based fare tracking is super accurate and easy to use. And i like that you can customize the tariffs for your location - that's a big plus. The interface is a little dated but it gets the job done. The only real downside is that it can be a bit complicated to set up at first, but there are good tutorials that walk you through it.

Great app. Been using it a good while now. Tried others before this, they were all too complicated.
Customer service has been above and beyond what I would have expected as I'm only using the free version at the moment.
