I came to this app after FINALLY becoming fed up with my old app. I had the former app for months, and somewhere along the way, the producers decided to implement so many ads that i couldn't use the app. This app connected right away, no ads, so far! I'm praying they don't sell out and add ads to the product. it is perfect how it is now

I tried several different apps and they all sucked, were filled with ads, couldn't recognize my device for pairing, or had some other technical issue. This one paired with my TV in seconds. No adds, no fluff, straight to work. Don't waste your time. Use this to replace your remote.

So far so good. I just connected it and can honestly say that this is the first remote that I have been able to connect to my actual TV (other than Xfinity and that only turns it on and off and if I'm lucky controls the volume). This one the second I opened the app it asked what kind of remote I want it to be and when I clicked on my choice it told me to enter the code that is shown on my TV, I looked up and there was actually a code on my TV. No trying a million different ones, it was easy!

It definitely works but after pushing 3 buttons you get ads which is annoying! Also, it stops working if you're not using it. You have to force close the app and re-open. 3 days in now, not working as it's telling me that I need to connect it to the same wi-fi name as my TV which it was but it kept giving me the same error so now I've uninstalled and downloaded another app.

its great except it doesn't work once you switch apps or the phone screen goes off. then you have to restart the app. it keeps asking me if I'm enjoying the app and if say no, it disconnect.

AMAZING APPP!!!! the only singular downside is u have to restart to app after exiting it and reopening it, but it barely takes a few seconds!! perfect connection to my tv

far too many ads to make this useful. sleazy attempt to get you to click on ads by dropping full screen ad into remote while you are clicking volume up or flipping through channels so you accidentally click the ad. go somewhere else.

some times works very nicely over data package.. bcz we don't have wifi in hour home..... and sometimes required wifi to connect.

I m enjoying this app,however, everytime I have to reconnect it with wifi before using. It should be stayed connected. Rest is good.

best tcl remote when you lose or the original remote breaks for your TCL smart tv have not had a single problem with this app no matter the phone I have!! 10/10 definitely recommend

This app has inspired me to go buy a new remote. Total trash -- constantly stops working and back to spamming for a review. While not technically "difficult to use", the constant disconnect from the device it's supposed to be working for makes it extremely frustrating to try and use. It's becoming increasingly clear that the app developer needs to hang it up.

There's way too many ads and they are way too long. You shouldn't have to wait a minute plus for an ad to finish just to be able use the remote.

I can appreciate the need for ads in program but they can come up in between button presses. when you've changed channels and the next program is extremely loud and you're trying to lower the volume rapidly, a loud ad popping up is just the worst. One thing I would like as an improvement is saving TVs. that way you don't have to go through the menu every time to find your own TV. Besides these two gripes, and honestly the first one was the real major problem, this is a very good app.

Sometimes my TV won't show up but I've worked out it's a problem with the TV, not the app (TCL is the worst!). Really appreciate this app not being so full of ads that I want to throw my phone. Thank you 😊

works for the most part, annoying when you're trying to change volume or scroll through an app on the television and this app decides to have an ad wall pop up over the entirety of the screen, thus causing a click on said ad... good strategy for clicks, if that's how advertising revenue is still generated for developers and whatnot. But this could obviously, easily be fixed by purchasing the app or finding my darn remote control...

It cannot turn on a TV that is powered off. It works well once the TV is on. It has pop up ads that come up while you are pressing buttons, which is very annoying. Can't give it more than 2 stars, since the main thing a remote needs to do is turn on the TV. Loses an extra star for ads. Can't purchase a premium version to remove ads either, as far as I've found.

Works. It's not the best. The remote wont turn the TV back on. If you go without using the app for more than 5 minutes you have to reconnect. The app glitches often causing you to have to reconnect or sometimes reinstall all together. Atp I think I'll just buy a new remote. I can't even connect my tv to the wifi using the app on my phone because it's connected with the ether net cord which shouldn't matter at all .

the amount of ads is absurdly annoying. literally like, 5 clicks top and you're stuck in a minute long ad. you can close the app completely and reopen it to bypass it, but really annoying when you just want to turn the volume up. I wish I could find the better app i used to use, but this unfortunately is the best one I can find :'[

You get ads every 3 or 4 clicks. This wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to click 3 or 4 times to get it to work. It paired with no issue, and the first 2 clicks worked, but then it was all downhill. So I think the Dev is pulling one over on us, so I will be uninstalling. I hate ads, but as a developer myself, I understand the need. But if your app is good and it works, people will pay to get rid of the ads (people like me), but the app gotta be worth the $$$. Not just a money grab.
