Been using Tea Dating Advice for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps women figure out if they’re dating the same guy. Basically, you can ask the anonymous community about a guy you’re talking to, to see if he’s safe, not a catfish, and not already in a relationship. The Facebook groups for this are so last year – Tea is the way to go now.

There’s a nationwide forum where you can read posts and get advice. You can also set alerts to get notified if someone posts about a guy you’re seeing. It’s got some pretty useful features, like being able to see if the guy has been reported for shady behavior before. Took me a while to figure out all the different options but it’s actually pretty handy.

Look, if you’re into online dating, you’ll probably find this app super helpful. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job of helping you avoid dating the same sketchy dude as your friends. Worth checking out for sure.

So here's my take on Tea Dating Advice. I've tried out a bunch of dating apps and this one stands out for actually addressing a real issue - making sure the guys you're talking to aren't already dating your friends or being shady. And the anonymous forum is a nice touch and I like that you can set alerts. It's not the prettiest app out there, but it's functional and gets the job done. If you're sick of Facebook dating groups and want a more streamlined way to vet potential matches, Tea is worth a download.
