I've tested a bunch of art and exhibition apps, and teamLab is one of the more unique ones I've come across. The digital art itself is super impressive - really vibrant, immersive, and unlike anything you'd see in a traditional museum. The app does a great job of enhancing the experience by letting you interact with the art in cool ways. But it's not without its issues - the app can be a bit glitchy at times and the content is a bit limited. Overall though, I'd say it's a pretty solid option if you want to check out some cutting-edge digital art.

Description

Been using teamLab for a couple months now. It’s basically an app where you can explore some really cool digital art exhibits from the teamLab group. There are a bunch of exhibitions you can check out – everything from Tokyo to Macau.

The way it works is you just open the app when you’re at one of the teamLab locations and it’ll give you info about the artworks and let you experience them through your phone. There’s also an AR mode which is pretty neat, lets you see the digital art overlaid on the real world.

Look, if you’re into digital art and unique exhibition experiences, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit buggy sometimes and the content is a little limited. But overall it’s a solid way to check out some really cool and trippy digital art installations. Worth giving a try if you’re near a teamLab exhibit.

Cool exhibit, but skip the app. Usually didn't work, and even when it did seem to work, it was basically impossible to tell if it actually affected anything. Good idea...

Rubbish, it never knew where you were so in places where it "allowed interaction" you could not do so, to be fair this did not detract from the art works...
