Reviews for TeamSpeak 3 - Voice Chat

In times where privacy should be very important to everyone, this is the only viable alternative to discord and others. Unfortunately the app used to work fine, but now it keeps disconnecting or people don't hear me anymore. I'm mostly using it in the car via Bluetooth. Not acceptable for a payed app. Please fix asap and I'll change back to 5 stars!

I see a lot of negative reviews for this, however I have not had any issues for what it's worth. Connected to our server inside our network and outside the network. Stayed connected and worked great. Your mileage may very but for .99 it is worth trying if you think you could use it.

Wouldn't even load. I was stuck on a black screen the first time I opened it. Nothing showed up at all. I tried redownloading, etc etc and it's just a black screen. DO NOT BUY. Stick to the PC version, this is very unstable. i got a refund within 20 minutes of buying.

I cannot accept licence agreement just because there is no way to do it: all I see is 4 lines of text (last is "table of contents"), 2 working buttons "reject" and "send" and disabled "accept". I cannot scroll view, there is no interactive elements except these 2 buttons.

App does not properly release proximity sensor on Galaxy S9+. Causes screen to turn off when not on any kind of call. Have to force quit to release sensor. Best app for low bandwidth communications. Works when no one else does. To the people complaining about the servers they have, don't you have remote administration?

This App works great except for the fact that the audio quality is bad. Listening to music through teamspeak is really not a viable option on mobile unless the sound quality is improved. Edit: The app won't let me connect to any server on wifi or cellular network. Complains that "server connection could not be initialized" even though internet is working 100% in every other app.

Super upset with how poorly this app performs when compared to the one on PC. I can't even hear my friends talk but they can hear me clear as day. It worked fine on my old phone but now I have a 5G one and the signal is stronger than steel yet my friends sound like they're in a tunnel. Fix your app teamspeak. March 20, 2021. App still isn't fixed still runs terribly I can't understand any of my.friends for longer then 0.2 milliseconds and now the app constantly freezes and crashes.

I connected to a server last night to say goodnight to my friends. I disconnected. TS3 was no longer in my notifications bar. This caused my alarm to play out of my phone audio instead of my speaker. I barely heard it until I'm now 30 minutes late for work. This is the worst app on my phone. I regret paying for this over free Discord.

After last update, Samsung phone warning popped up saying it detected the app recording audio while as a background process even when I was not logged in or connected to any server. Yeah, you really shouldn't be spying on people's audio when they aren't even connected... real dangerous app.

I just tried it because of all the bad reviews I saw. To be honest when your first download and open it you can hardly hear anything but once you go to the setting, you can increase the volume or even set it to use speaker. For me it's working perfectly and even worth more than 0.99 price

Been using this app since 2013, still the awkward app hangs when swapping, or sitting on another app too long forcing you to jump thru some hoops to get Android to offer to kill the process. But thankfully they have competition now so we should see some progress... Hopefully...

I think that this app should be free, that's the reason why I put 4 stars in this review. But for the other things I prefer this app to talk with my friends over Discord, Skype, Guilded, etc. And yes, it has some bugs, errors or lack of things like screen streaming that are more for a social media app, remember that this app isn't focused for that, it's focused to be a voice chat. And another thing that I love about Teamspeak is that you have to host your own server, It's all managed by you.

Only uses phones mic and speakers even if headphone is plugged in. And to make it worse the sound from the app interferes with itself and causes a disturbing noise that is lauder than the voices of other people. Tried to switch mic and speakers in settings, but there are no additional options beside voice call (which is ignored and uses normal speaker and mic) and music/mic (which is exactly the same as the other two). Tested on 2 phones (Android 7 & 9) and 3 headphones. All the same problem.

Every time I try to connect to it, it crashes. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app for it to work. Every time I try and reconnect, it crashes again and again. I am a bit disappointed that I did purchase this app only to have it continually crash upon connecting. I will change my 1 star review into 5 stars once the issue is fixed. It's still not fixed...

Unusable. I've never had to rate an app on the app store as poorly as I have this, but it is inexcusably poorly performing. I join a channel, can talk to and listen to my friends for about 20 seconds, before all audio from my friends cuts out. They can hear me but I can not hear them. I am using a OnePlus 6 with a 4 pole wired headset+mic, android oxygen 10.3.7 (although I've had this problem over a span of months and I have had this problem earlier), and this problem persists in reinstalls.

Unfortunately this is no longer supported and TeamSpeak has a history of abruptly pulling support for apps (especially those paid for, like with this version), to then render the version useless. Unfortunately Discord is even worse because they sell all your voice and video data and sells profile (Steam copycat) skins for £15 a pop. Use TS instead of Discord, or a better alternative with longer support. Unfortunately it won't be long before TS copy Discord. Edit: TS sells user data.

It is a pretty solid ts3 app, you can basically do almost everything you would want to do with a pc app. But it stops using my mic after about 1 min if I go to another app or lock the phone. When I'm in the app itself it's completely fine and works well. But still very annoying. Looked for any possible settings and the app has background usage enabled. Still no mic usage in background. 4 stars then. Upd: doesn't work with Bluetooth headphones. 3 stars.

Absolutely useless, this should not have to be paid. I feel robbed, me and my friends have a youtube channel, and we have been trying to find a better way to talk, we use team speak on the computer, but my commection is bad and doesn't work, so they told me to try this, which i had to pay. It took me hours to connect the server, the sound was very low and my microphone barely working, then my microphone stopped working, like not even with headphones would work... Absolutely worst app ever.

The app works fine overall, except for the sound. I keep having lagg or robotic friends every few sentences they say. The entire time, no matter if I use 5G or wifi. But when I swap to discord we can talk for hours without problems. Even when I didn't change my situation. Please fix, I've been using TeamSpeak for years and always loved it. Even the pc version is so nice to use.

Working perfect on my Android 15 I only don't like how it deals with calls or generally when calls interrupts the app but overall just perfect. Also that would be a great idea if Android version supports " Offline messages & File " feature.
