I’ve been using Telegram X for about 6 months now, switching back and forth between this and the regular Telegram app. It’s basically a souped-up version of Telegram that’s built differently under the hood. The main thing you’ll notice is how quick everything loads. Messages pop up faster, scrolling through chats is butter-smooth, and switching between conversations doesn’t have that tiny lag you sometimes get with regular Telegram. There’s also some neat experimental features they try out here first – like better photo editing tools and some cool animation stuff. And plus, you can customize the look way more than in the normal app.
Look, if you’re already using Telegram and want something a bit faster, this is worth checking out. But here’s the thing – it’s not always as stable as the main app. Sometimes features show up late or work a bit differently. Kind of like being a beta tester, but with better performance. I’d say give it a shot if you’re okay with occasional quirks in exchange for speed.

So here's my honest take after using both apps side by side. Telegram X is definitely the faster option - not gonna lie, going back to regular Telegram feels a bit sluggish now. But it's got its issues. I've had random crashes here and there, and sometimes new Telegram features take forever to show up in X. Plus, some stuff just works... differently? Not worse, just different enough to be annoying if you're switching between devices that have different versions. Still, I keep coming back to X because that speed boost is really noticeable, especially in groups with tons of media. It's like picking between a stable but slower car and a faster one that sometimes needs a bit of tinkering.
