I’ve been using TelloFPV – Fly DJI Ryze Tello for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your Tello drone with way more features and control than the standard Tello app. Pretty solid if you’re into flying drones and want more advanced options.
Here’s what you can do: You can switch to a first-person view (FPV) and fly your Tello like you’re sitting in the cockpit. There’s also an autopilot mode that can make it circle, return to home, or lock the heading for smooth video. And you can even use simple VR goggles to get an immersive FPV experience.
Look, if you’re a Tello drone owner, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – the demo version can be finicky to get working – but overall it adds a ton of functionality that the stock Tello app is missing. Worth checking out if you want more control and features for your drone.
