So here's my honest take on Tennessee Proctor ID. I've tested a bunch of different apps for taking driving tests, and this one's pretty good overall. The setup process is straightforward, the features are useful, and it works as advertised. I like that it has security options like facial recognition. The only real downside is the Android 10 compatibility issue, which could be a dealbreaker for some people. But if you're on an older Android phone, I'd say it's worth giving Tennessee Proctor ID a shot.

  • Selfie and biometric login options are a nice security touch

Cons

  • Upgrades take forever at higher levels

Description

Been using Tennessee Proctor ID for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you take your Tennessee driving written test online, which is pretty convenient. The way it works is you use your phone camera to scan your driver’s license, then follow the steps to set up your account and security. Took me a little while to figure it all out but it’s not too complicated.

Here’s what you do: you can register for your Tennessee PID in like 5 simple steps. There’s also the option to use your face or fingerprint to unlock the app, which is a nice security feature. And the interface is pretty intuitive – doesn’t take long to get the hang of it.

Look, if you need to take your Tennessee written test, this app’s worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the Android 10 devices don’t work with it, which is kinda annoying. But overall it does the job and saves you from having to go to the DMV, so I’d say it’s a pretty solid option.

This app does NOT work with Apple or Android products. We have tried four different products. It is clearly an app issue. Do y'all turn it off on the weekends?!
