Sometimes the app doesn't connect to the car right away which prompts me to have to reach in for my key card. It'll connect to audio but not unlock sometimes. This can be frustrating especially in the rain. Otherwise, great app. Would love to do more from it. It also wouldn't allow me to turn off my valet mode and I had to restart my phone for it to finally recognize and connect with my car.

Maybe if these reviews are on point. The app is great!!...... But Android is bugging, or at least inconsistent and slow. There's also features that I read "are available" but then I realize that it's only available on IOS For me I want to see my at home charging stats, but can't do that unless I check the car right after charging. If I don't check right after and try to charge again -- poof -- data "gone" Really sucks to have less data in what is essentially the beta of electric cars.

The home page of the car service category no longer shows upcoming service appointments. What a dumb change. The app doesn't even give you notification of service appointments among many other things that it should. Miss your appointment? The app will quite literally block you from using any of the functions for your car saying your car is in service, even though its not in service or even at a service center. The app is also slow to respond, which I feel is less than ideal in 2021 for such a high tech cutting edge company. I do like the ability to swipe between car and energy but it stops there.

The idea is great, but functionality is very lacking. Most of the time it takes WAY too long for the car to "wake up" (frequently longer than the timeout on my phone screen). It just sits and loads for what feels like forever. This is a real inconvenience when you're trying to actually get something done or get your car warmed up/cooled down before you get to it. Often I try, but end up arriving at the car wondering "what was the point of this feature if I can't use it?

So disappointed with the recent update. Old version was so clean and easy to understand. New version can't connect when I have a cellular connection, says "no connection to the internet" when I actually do. I lost the ability to track power outages. Apps and data load more slowly. I do like how the main screen now shows home power usage instead of having to click once to see it. I think that's the only improvement. App is perfectly functional when connected to Wifi, so I guess I'll give 2 star

For a company as big as Tesla, you'd think they'd be about to make an app work properly. I use mine only to control my Powerwall 3 with the solar panels. Time to export the power? Simply click on 'Time based control' and exports to 'everything'. With this app however, it often just reverts straight back to 'solar only' so you've got to keep checking it and clicking 'everything' again. I've just wasted an hour's worth of power export due to it reverting back. Ridiculous.

Great app overall. Messaging is totally messed up now, you can't see the message you type at all and whether you read messages from appointments or not it keeps indicating that there are unread messages. Will be great if you have a quick shortcut button from the drop down icon to heat the car, it's theoat used feature when I bring the app.

I would like to suggest an option be added to the Scheduled Departure function. Currently one can schedule a departure time for either "All week"or "Weekdays". I would like to see a button added for "One time". There have been a number of times that I've set a departure time that I expect to use only once, and then forgot turn it off. Until I notice it, the car will unnecessarily pre-condition itself at that time every day.

The new in-app messaging is nearly unusable. 1. No matter what, the app constantly tells me I have unread messages from the service team, even after I have read them. 2. When typing, the keyboard covers the region where you type. You cannot see what you are typing. 3. When you click "messages" it takes a long time to load. Please let us use our phone's default texting again like before.

Schedules. Nightmare. I've had so many failures with these. Missing cheap electricity or worse not having a charged car. I watched like a hawk as I just configured this one. Turned it on (so easy to forget). Went to the home screen to see when it will start. It didn't update. I went back to look at the schedule. It reverted itself back to the previous day and time. I set it again. It did it again, I forced a refresh and finally it set it to what I wanted.
