Been using Texas Outdoor Annual for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that has all the hunting, fishing, and boating regulations for Texas in one place. Pretty solid if you’re into the great outdoors. And

Here’s what you can do: you can check the hunting season dates and limits for your county, look up statewide fishing bag and length limits, and find nearby places to fish. There’s also news and reports from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department – took me a while to figure that part out but it’s actually really useful.

Look, if you spend a lot of time hunting, fishing, or boating in Texas, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – there’s a lot of info to dig through and the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on Texas Outdoor Annual. I've tested a bunch of outdoors/fishing apps and this one's pretty solid. The amount of information packed in is really impressive - you've got hunting seasons, bag limits, fishing spots, boating safety, and more. It's not the most polished app out there, but it gets the job done. The news and reports from TPWD are a nice bonus too. Just takes some getting used to at first. Overall, if you spend a lot of time in the Texas outdoors, this is a really handy app to have.
