So here's my take on Text, Call & Phone number. I've tested a bunch of communication apps and this one's a pretty solid option. The ability to have multiple numbers is super useful, and I like that you can call and text anyone, not just other app users. The interface could be a bit more polished, but it gets the job done. I'd say it's worth trying out if you need a reliable second line.

Pros

  • Tons of features like unlimited texting, calling, and video chat
  • Can call and message any US phone number, not just other app users
  • Free to use, no need to pay for a second line
  • Lets you have separate numbers for work, personal, etc.
  • Easy to set up and start using right away

Cons

  • Interface can be a bit clunky and confusing at first
  • Ads can get pretty annoying if you don't pay for the premium version
  • Doesn't always work as reliably as a traditional phone number

Been using Text, Call & Phone number for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that gives you a second phone number so you can have different numbers for work, personal life, etc. There’s a bunch of cool features like unlimited texting, calling, and even video chatting – not just with other users, but with any phone number in the US. You can pick a local number and even have your friends install the app to really take advantage of it.

The main thing you do is just pick a nickname and number, then start messaging and calling people. There’s also a built-in dialer so you can make calls right from the app. It’s pretty straightforward to use, though it did take me a bit to figure out all the different options.

Look, if you need a second phone number for any reason, this app does the job. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky and the ads can get annoying – but overall it works well and is worth checking out.
