Been using Textra SMS for a couple months now. It’s basically an alternative to your default texting app that gives you way more customization options and features. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do – there’s 180+ different themes, bubble colors, and app icons to choose from. It’s got dark mode, night mode, all that. And you can do stuff like schedule texts to send in the future, add voice memos, block specific contacts. It’s got a bunch of little features that make texting way easier.

Look, if you’re into customizing your phone and want a more powerful SMS app, you’ll probably like Textra. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

So here's my take on Textra SMS. I've tested a bunch of SMS apps and this one's probably my favorite. The customization options are insane - you can really make it your own. And the extra features like scheduled texts and voice memos are super useful. Definitely better than the stock texting app that came with my phone. The only downside is the ads, but you can pay to remove them. Overall, Textra is a pretty darn good SMS app that I'd recommend.
