Reviews for The Knot Wedding Planner

I love the Knot! It's great when you are planning a destination wedding. Finding venues and vendors so far away is made easy with this app! I don't use if for my wedding website, so I'm no help with that. The reason I gave them 4 stars is because of their checklist. I love using a checklist, but their dates are pretty off. Like why do I need to have my hair trial in September when my wedding is in May? They have a ton of things that are too far out, and therefore I can't use it the way I want😔

The customer service is great, they are very quick to help you with your invitations before printing if something is off with them, the quality of their stationary is lovely, and the website is very easy to use. I ordered 3 free samples of invitations from them and they sent the 3 that I had chosen as well as 4-5 other samples of invitations, save the dates, thank you cards, and even place cards. They also have great prices on stationary. Would definitely recommend as a great source to use.

This app is a great resource if you've never planned a wedding before. Plus the ability to organize your guest list within the app makes everything so much easier. It allows you to check off to-dos, and in some cases even helped me realize things I hadn't thought of. Finally, the option to create your own wedding website and keep track of RSVPs in one spot, for FREE, is fantastic. Can't say more positive things- check it out.

Overall, this app is wonderful. Was a super helpful, convenient tool. To be able to make adjustments at your fingertips. However the desktop is much easier to use and navigate. A slight frustration I had was getting a notification, I would click on it, and it would just open the app. It didn't show me the reason for the notification. So I ended up searching for the notification.

I had no idea where to begin! But this app has a check list that starts at the engagement! You can even add extra or optional things to their checklist. It helped me make a website for the wedding and make registrys with lots of websites that are already linked with them and you can add custom ones too. It can help with vendors, ceremony, and reception locations though they weren't as accurate or close for my area though.

Kinda ok for planning, extremely frustrating to use. The planning "tools" are not easy to navigate and often do not save or recognize vendors you've already booked. For example, I received recommendations for vendors after already booking a vendor in that category. My biggest issue is uploading photos. Its painstaking, photos upload out of order if they upload at all, and forget trying to reorganize them. I honestly dont see the hype The Knot gets. #beyondfrustratedbride

Great concept with glitches. Putting the address in manually isn't always easy. Asking people for their addresses, it should allow them to put their significant other in. Can't add people manually in the app. Has to be online. However, we loved how easy to get our registry added and website set up. The check list is a great reminder of the little things that add up. Wish you could add your vendors and your details of your meetings. Along with budget for those vendors.

I got engaged on a camping trip and, despite having sketchy phone service (though, luckily, we were at a KOA, so there was just enough to function off of) I was eager to start planning. That night I downloaded this app and ZOLA, and let me tell you... THIS ONE IS SO MUCH BETTER! The amount of resources and checklists and wedding website templates... I'm shocked that it's free. It also doesn't have any in- app advertising, which allows it to run as smooth as peanutbutter (the creamy kind).

We were super excited to have a one-stop shop for wedding prep, but the app is full of glitches. We take the quiz, make edits and save the changes, and nothing saves. We toggle to look at different styles, the examples don't change. Both times we get a spinning loading circle, but nothing new loads. Tried using the website instead, and it's full of dead links. Idk what's going on, but it's definitely not the great experience everyone raves about.

App helped planning to be easy and fun. Navigation was not confusing at all. Kept us on track and in line with our plans. Would like to see the registry easier to find for the mobile app. If you dont know to push the lines in the corner, the website seems to be only one page. Overall though, it was awesome and free!
