Description
Been using The Work App 4.0.1 for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that guides you through Byron Katie’s self-inquiry process, called The Work. The idea is to help you question and let go of stressful thoughts. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you enter your stressful thoughts directly into the app. There’s also a bunch of audio recordings of Byron Katie supporting you through the process. And there are a few videos too – took me a while to figure that part out but they’re useful.
Look, if you’re into personal growth and mindfulness, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface could be a little more intuitive – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to explore The Work.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on The Work App 4.0.1. I've tried a bunch of meditation and self-help apps, and this one's pretty solid. I like how it walks you through the actual The Work process step-by-step, with Katie's guidance. The audio recordings in particular are really helpful. On the downside, the app can feel a little basic at times, and I wish there were more features to keep you engaged. But overall, if you're curious about The Work, this is a great way to dive in.
