The Cut app has been great and very convenient for myself and my clients when appointments for servicing are being booked. It would be even greater if there was an option that would allow "touch and drag" rearranging of the service options in the order you would like, instead of having to delete and retype the service to appear in a specific order. Other than that, I recommend using The Cut app to any Barber or Stylist looking for convenience and reliability in an app.

This app need to show how many reviews each barber has. I also needs to sort by distance/rating with more reviews/rating and distance. It also needs phone numbers or a way to chat with your barber. Rating barber should have a verified if the purchased the services with your app. It also needs the ability to upload pictures when uploading a review.
I just wish you guys have better customer service. After 4 months of moving my clients to this app. Now app will not take the $20 fee for some reason. Now it has down graded me on a Saturday at my busy time where my clients can not book them self. And there isn't a Rep from this company that I can talk too. Trying to email back and forth with no results, because they give you general answers for something that you have all ready tried. Dose not help.
This app is Amazing. Its perfect for keeping track of appointments so that I dont have to pick up my phone 10 times in the middle of a cut. I did NOT rate it 5 🌟 because there is no EDIT option so that I could add services that a clients wants to add while at the shop, I have to "cancel" the appointment and then rebook in order to add the additional services. Also, instead of the "barberchair" as the booking option it should just say "BOOK" or "RESERVE" . Alot of ppl call asking how too book NOT knowing that pressing the barber chair is where you'd book. The app is a great app. Just need to be more client friendly (More Direct) and a LANGUAGE option would be awesome as well.
I barely started using the app, I had decided to give this a try instead of booksy. It has been a good experience thus and I'm happy with the customer service. I had an issue where I had a promo code for student barbers, but I had gotten charged the $25 monthly subscription, just before the promo code was applied. I reached out to them and within the same day the issue was resolved!
Great app. Been using it for 3 years. Few glitches every now and then. Customers not seeing availability when there is availability. Also it needs a lunch button you can press and set for everyday in just one click. Also it needs a note space on the profile ie. Special information for customer regarding my business expectations.
just wanted to point out that I love the new update per contacts. one suggestion: instead of having it scroll slowly to your selected "letter", could it perhaps jump to them? Oh yeah, and why don't we as basically the account admins not have the ability to reschedule previously confirmed requests? Like it makes no sense that a requester can but we cannot. Lastly, when i send out a "client blast" why isn't there a record of said blast? Fix those and it'll be a darn near perfect app!
Devs - is there a bug? I've used the app 3 times and this 4th one it booked the appointment for me without me confirming it. Caused for my barber to get notice and confirm it. I didn't finalize it on my end but, my barber thought it was a "no show" and he missed out on revenue. Will have to book outside the app to ensure this doesn't happen again.
Wish it was more like instant messaging, faster and view as they arrive. Also, not sure why, but messages are inverted. Most recent messages show from the top, not the bottom as our standard messages on our phones. Weird.. Also annoying, I have to go to calendar to message my barber via recent messages. I can't just message him directly from the app. I do like the notification for confirmed appo
I cannot use my card anymore. I was using 1 card. It worked for months. Then suddenly it declines. There's more than enough money. The bank says it's not on their end. Fine, I use my other bank card. It works for months then the same thing happens. No one can help me. I've already concluded it's an app issue because it's happened with 2 cards from 2 banks.
This app is way too simplistic. It takes your location, or a location search, and gives you a list of everybody. There's no way to filter out things you don't want or things you do want. For example I only want to see people that do color, as I also dye my beard to cover up gray. Basically it's a list of names and nothing else. Not really helpful.
Perfect for managing customers and payments. Wish they had tap to pay set up for Androids like they do with iPhones; but I'm sure we will get there. Really has made my life a whole lot smoother. I do think the monthly price is fair, especially when there are process service fees as well. I hope that in the future, if they change things; we can have the option to pay less or more monthly *monthly*for a higher or lower process service fee.
Overall the app is ok. Booking with my son's barber is convenient, but the messaging system is in severe need of an upgrade. Why can't you ever see the full message? I think that should be a basic function with a booking app. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future. It's frustrating to see a piece of a message. *UPDATE * The messaging issue is still not resolved, which is incredibly frustrating. I'm getting messages from the barber that I can't even read.
The app looks nice. My barber recently switched to it. I can see why. It's a lot better than StyleSeat. My only issue is that when I added my profile picture it is showing the picture sideways instead of normal. Not sure what that is about. Update: Finally, after two years of this app being out I get to sync my appointments to my calendar. Thank you! Surprised it took so long.
I used this app for a few years with minimal problems but as soon as I have a major issue the support team isn't much support. It's been 3 days I been locked out of my account. I cant reach my clients. I'm losing alot of money!! Clients think I'm not in the shop and I cant confirm there appointments. I reached out multiple times to get a not so helpful response and then no response at all. They dodged alot of questions I had and it seems like they have no clue on how to fix this problem.
The app will run 2 daily deposits together making it hard to keep up with your earnings per day. Sometimes they will allow clients to book with bogus cards and when you go to cash out you don't get paid! They put the responsibility on the Barber by saying tell the client to update the app. They should update their app automatically. Not my responsibility. Once visiting client's are gone you may never see them again and you have to take a loss. Can't modify transactions ex: discount or upcharge.
None of the text entry fields register as a type of prompt. For instance, a credit card prompt in almost every other app I use would automatically trigger an auto fill of my credit card that's saved on my phone, but it doesn't on this app. Same for the login, address, name, etc. But what's more irritating is the app feels it is acceptable to notify me at 1:00 AM to tell me my barber, who I just saw TODAY, has an availability for TOMORROW! Outstanding job guys...
The AI customer service is terrible. Multiple times, I haven't gotten my issues straightened out. They eventually just stop communicating. The app just keeps getting more expensive for worse customer service. Some customers app doesn't have a cancel or reschedule button. It's not saving me as much time answering the phone when they have to call me to cancel.
UPDATE BELOW* Everytime my barber sends a message out to his clients I can't see the whole message and when I click on it hoping that it will open the message in the app, nothing happens and I do not get to read the message. The message disappears...Very frustrating. Update!!! They have fixed the message issue and has been working very well! Thank you for fixing the issue!!!
