Reviews for ThinkDiag+
← Back to ThinkDiag+I'm amazed with what Thinkdiag2 tool can do, and ThinkDiag+ Application, best tool and Application I've ever used.
I think is very useful tool and it helped to fix so many problems also it has a large list of compatible vehicles.
Great tool and easy to use... Works with many vehicles and useful information to rectify faults. AAAA++++
A good product when you are up to date on software packages. It however sucks once you are out of subscription
Hey guys! Just tried the ThinkDiag Mini OBD2 scanner – and honestly, it’s a game changer! ✅ It reads and clears check engine codes ✅ Works with most cars, even Proton and Perodua ✅ The app is super easy to use No more wasting time at the workshop for small issues. I give it 5 stars – small device, big help! If you care about your car, get one now! #ThinkDiagMini #OBDScanner #CarHack #EasyFix #AutoTools
my dongle is failing to communicate even I fix firmware and update app version. Been back and forth with the customer service but no one can help me.
In my experience, the Thinkdiag device is nothing more than a glorified $10 temu code reader. The only functions working are health check, DTC clearance, and live data. 90% special functions do not work even though the functions were listed under my vehicles support list. No after sales support as well. according to the supplier, if it switches on, there is nothing wrong with the device not worrying about functionality.
terrible app, when you pay for downloads, you still can't use it for 1-2 days after you pay for it, useless if you need your car diagnosed right away, I dont recommend this at all if you want your vehicle diagnosed right away
Best tool money can buy. I program keys and resolve a lot of issues with it. Definitely worth the money!
Completely impressed with this scan tool. I have been using mine for years now and it keeps getting better. Bi-directional commands, Special functions, System resets, tests modes, computer mapping. I have not found a vehicle that I cannot diagnose with this device and app
ive been waiting 5 days for them to fix mine and there not very fast to respond and there isnt a number to call so stuck texting everytime they tell me something to do it doesn't work and I keep sending the exact same problem to them very frustrating why buy a year vip when it doesn't work I asked for refund and still no reply just a thank you for you patience or sorry for the inconvenience im not patience anymore and sorry isn't fixing anything I would not recommend this to my enemy!!!!!
very powerful, was skeptical but purchased to recalibrate the steering angle sensor on a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder. This unit could not have made it any easier and has since also help me resolve several other issues. You won't get another scanner as powerful as this for this price. Don't be hesitant to purchase You will not be disappointed.
While the app and the tool work seemlessly together it is not as intuitive as I'd like. However, you get used to it after a while. The annual renewal fee is like having to purchase a new one annually, could and should be a less than buying a new one otherwise why not just buy a new one and never get a membership? With that said this is a really awesome OBD2. Bi- directional, powerful, and almost no brand that it doesn't work on.
It's a very handy scan tool that can do a lot of what the other more expensive scan tools at a cheaper price. It's small and well made, I just wish it came with a hard case. It comes with your 1st year for free and upgrades. It might be small but it has a lot of features. The only thing I don't like is the menu setup it's kind of confusing if you're new to using scan tools. I wish there was a button for scan only. If you're looking for a scan tool that can do a lot this is it watch the tutorial!
It crashes a lot. I haven't gotten to a point where I can save yet. I'm hoping they'll keep working on it. I've got an LG V10. It's an old phone but it's so good. I may try to switch phones if I have more trouble. I bought a mainstream phone a few years ago just to run one app on. So I don't just blame the app. It might be my phone. I've got a generic scanner & app that rocks. But what if we could get all these features & more inside a reader? How far can they take this? Swap ECUs maybe? More?
Functional device, misleading point system.. 🤔 This really is a cool little device with a hefty subscription price after the first year, depending on how much you use it. I could be wrong but I swear that in the beginning one point equals $1 and you could use that towards the subscription or buying another device. Now 100 points only gets you a few dollars off and even with the discount those devices cost less on Amazon 🤦 I fear buying this device could be a poor long term investment 🤷
I loved my ThinkDiag 2 when I got it, but lately (2-3 software updates ago) I have had to do a firmware fix before doing anything and it will still freeze or not function as it should. Also suddenly lost my history and nothing new is saved there. It's become pretty much a huge waste of time, probably going to throw it away instead of pay for the software when my year is up in two months.
Scanner works well on newer cars but not on older ones. Was told my 2002 honda accord would be supported but I paid for the software package and the download kept failing and would and I could not move forward with diagnosis. The app is a little confusing when you first start using it. 4 stars for the lack of resources available for navigating the app.
Yearly renewal fee just as much as what you initially paid for it. So you're basically buying it every year. Full of ads. everything other than reading codes has to be downloaded, purchased, or both. Very un-userfriendly. Requires an IPAD if you're not using your phone. Android tablets don't work well with it. I think there is a separate app for that. Slow response times. By the time you're done watching spinning wheels and figuring out how to use it, you just Wana go in the house and take a nap
