When trying to view live view remotely it starts to open view but then get a message "closing live view". Been like this for some time. Done all necessary resets but still the same. Problem seems to have happened after firmware update.
Live view works 1 out of 10 times, even less. I get a black screen but it charges me anyway. Later edit: after an update the app works every time. Kudos for the development team
So disappointed comings with all the promises of what it can do, but I have yet to see it 2 weeks of back and forth and still no WiFi connection. Thinkware are yet to live up to all there promises.
The app doesn't work. I had tech support help me sync my app to the Q1000 but the app doesn't show my driving history. My last parking shows a location somewhere in South Korea.
Good app, very impressive. I am able to connect and access the cameras in my car while it is parked. I can see a map of my previous journeys and it also tells me the voltage of my car battery. Can also remotely download video of movement and automatically shut down the cameras.
Unfortunately, the app logs out every day (logged via Google), hence no guarantee it will notify you of impacts. Also, very basic functionality compared to its largest rival.
Very good with the T700 LTE. Finally an affordable 4G dash cam from a reputable manufacturer. Love this. Can live stream wherever my car is. Needs 2 apps, one for cloud, the other for downloading footage from the SD card and changing the settings but as once that's clear it's all good.
Can't even get the app to load the camera half of the time when the camera is connected to the in car wifi. It just says connecting and closes without showing live view but still takes time away from the free live view time.
Painful experience trying to get this sorted. When you are in Bing after registration, copy and paste the url page that says login complete into chrome. This is how I got around the captcha bug.
Absolute garbage, won't stay connected longer that 20 mins, keeps turning the camera off. Park and 20 mins to an hour get the alert that the camera has been turned off. Brand new truck, OB 2 connection. All recommended settings, not very useful if the camera won't stay on.
