When trying to view live view remotely it starts to open view but then get a message "closing live view". Been like this for some time. Done all necessary resets but still the same. Problem seems to have happened after firmware update.

Live view works 1 out of 10 times, even less. I get a black screen but it charges me anyway. Later edit: after an update the app works every time. Kudos for the development team

So disappointed comings with all the promises of what it can do, but I have yet to see it 2 weeks of back and forth and still no WiFi connection. Thinkware are yet to live up to all there promises.

The app doesn't work. I had tech support help me sync my app to the Q1000 but the app doesn't show my driving history. My last parking shows a location somewhere in South Korea.

Good app, very impressive. I am able to connect and access the cameras in my car while it is parked. I can see a map of my previous journeys and it also tells me the voltage of my car battery. Can also remotely download video of movement and automatically shut down the cameras.

Unfortunately, the app logs out every day (logged via Google), hence no guarantee it will notify you of impacts. Also, very basic functionality compared to its largest rival.

Very good with the T700 LTE. Finally an affordable 4G dash cam from a reputable manufacturer. Love this. Can live stream wherever my car is. Needs 2 apps, one for cloud, the other for downloading footage from the SD card and changing the settings but as once that's clear it's all good.

Can't even get the app to load the camera half of the time when the camera is connected to the in car wifi. It just says connecting and closes without showing live view but still takes time away from the free live view time.

Painful experience trying to get this sorted. When you are in Bing after registration, copy and paste the url page that says login complete into chrome. This is how I got around the captcha bug.

Absolute garbage, won't stay connected longer that 20 mins, keeps turning the camera off. Park and 20 mins to an hour get the alert that the camera has been turned off. Brand new truck, OB 2 connection. All recommended settings, not very useful if the camera won't stay on.

Server unavailable error on any network, including mobile networks. Updated phone, all security updates are installed and up to date. Tried different phones and even a tablet. No luck. What's next for a brand-new U1000 Plus unit? Also, rear camera disconnected error on vehicle start.

Takes on average about 10 seconds to connect to live stream. Unfortunately the live stream is about 10 seconds behind. When you get an impact notification, it's very hit or miss if the app will actually download the video when requested. I would estimate from my experience about 1 in 20 attempts to download the impact video is successful. If it doesn't show its working the first time then give up as it just won't work. Shame as I had high expectations of this camera.

Works at best 20% of the time. Wil say dashcam turned off, when it is still on. Will notify but the app will say disconnected, and unable to use the live view, or it will say Live view with no footage and quickly close. The camera works fine, but it was purchased mainly for the connected feature that is not reliable at all!!!. I have contacted Thinkware support , and frankly, Im not sure they can fix this issue, without a proper update or new App.

Terrible app. I have been trying to connect my cameras for a few weeks. on different devices. Trying scan of barcode doesn't work neither does entering mac adres I have contacted ThinkWare for help. I never heard back from them. I am wasting money on a couple of LTE contracts now..

Very much dislike the new revised app. My biggest concern is it seems no longer possible to view parking images and locations.

I don't know which app is responsible for maintaining wifi connection, whether it is the connected app or Dashcam link app. But inspite that it is set to connect to either of two wifi from the house when parked, it doesn't stay connected to my home wifi. The few times, it remained connected, based on the status light on the dash cam, but the Connected App shows it not connected. Only to two or three occasions,I was able to successfully view a live feed in parking mood.

Live view appears much more reliable since the latest update. In a low signal area i can now connect to the dashcam and view live footage.

So complicated and not very intuitive... Probably more useful for fleet use.

Worthless app!!! Won't recognize barcode scan, barcode manual input or mac... Uninstalling this morning worthless app that has never worked.

This new update v1 doesn't allow to see the last parked location option after the dashcam is turned off which was there in the previous version. I suggest the dev team to look into adding the last parked details of the vehicle to been seen in the new app update even after the dash cam turned off. Now we don't have an option to know where the vehicle is parked without getting the dashcam turned on. This is a big risk now for the owner of the vehicle.It was convenient earlier.Please fix it team.
