i have a samsung, and I've tried logging in, and I kept getting an "unknown network error" message. I tried reaching out and have gotten zero response from Meta. I've been mysteriously suspended multiple times, and I stay as clean as possible. my meta accounts are all frozen because of it for a month now. bugs left and right. It's extremely frustrating. my kids can't even use their occulus because of this. It's insane.

Automatic refresh ruins the experience. If the app is left in the background it automatically refreshes when I return, sending me straight back to the home page. If I haven’t finished reading a post, it’s gone On top of that, push notifications are almost useless. Clicking on a notification doesn’t take me to the actual post - it just opens the home page

This is probably my favorite social media app. It's just a great app. Simple to use and navigate, while being fun. I like being able to comment and share as needed. It's easy to find threads that match your interests. Kinda wish you could add more than one hashtag per thread. That's the only downside and not enough to downgrade the 5 stars I'm giving it.

Why is this app suddenly crashing on both my Android phone and my Android tablet?? This app worked great until a few days ago. Now it refuses to open unless I uninstall and reinstall - after the reinstall, it will work for a little while, then it goes back to refusing to open. My Android devices are up to date and so, presumably, is the Threads app. I don't know how to fix this.

is a very good app that has a lot of potential I see it overcoming Twitter and tiktok, but I was trying to figure out something, it seems like the alogrithm favours creators who are consistent daily which will be a huge blow to others who can't keep that track, and the secondly any time I minimize and return to the app it won't automatically give me updates like other social app until I refresh it which is a little blow.

Great app! I dropped the other similar app as soon as it was purchased by Mr. musty. Threads is easier for me and has a better flow. I spend a lot more time on Threads than I ever did on the other one! Mainly because it's easier to navigate and type entries. I'm also using it on my iPhone and on my Android phone. Great job designers!

Love threads, it's much more about people that aren't celebrities connecting. That's the best part for me. Also love that its largely a text based app. However meta is gonna kill the vibe with them trying to create more infinte scroll. Used to be able to view top and recent posts on a thread in separate columns which was very user friendly. They've now changed it so it's all on one long scroll 🙄. Would have rated 5 starts prior to this change.

Poor interface, and where can we find the message on web browser? Yeah we can send message easily as your ad said, on-mobile, but no way on pc: no message icon, and in friend's wall we have "mention button" instead of message as on mobile app.

Instagram, and the app in Google Play store appears, asking me to open the app. Then it does NOT open to the correct Thread I just clicked, but a completely different one. It previously opened to the correct Thread I clicked immediately. No need to re-open the app from the Google Play store. I'm stopping using Threads because of this broken softvware.

This app so great, not only because of its features but also because of the healthy community it has. People here are great and interacts with each other well. Though, I hope this app will be an independent application from Instagram account. I hope we'll be able to still log-in on our thread account even though the connected Instagram account were deactivated. Nevertheless, this app is great and it's getting better and greater as the time goes by.

My threads just stop working, idk if meta did some to my account or its a error, cause I aint do anything wrong keep saying errors refresh page , update, threads still have not let me back on my account, restricted my account for no reason and I have not even did anything, would appreciate them if they let me have my account back. I work hard on it

I actually like it. wanted to give at least 3 stars but it's not consistent the constant updates help it. but finally some people u can message within the app without ig. but u have to follow them, then again some u don't have to follow but your allowed to inbox them. then replying back to people sometimes glitches u cant see on post exactly where it left off.

The app needs stability. I'll be in the middle of writing a response and the whole page will refresh on me while I'm writing, losing everything I started, especially if I'm just double checking the spelling of a word in my second or third language. It is so frustrating to be on part 2 or 3 of a thread and everything is gone! Can't find it again FAIL

Alright as long as you're not interested in actually using the app, at least if you're on Android (latest version of both app and OS). Keeps telling me I have notifications, but when I click it, I can't see any notifications at all. Neither can I see all the people I follow, only the three people I followed when I first made the account. Terrible experience for the time being. Typical Meta quality.

This is the 2nd best social media app, where Instagram is the 1st best one. I actually get reach and engagement. The integration with Instagram is very likable (especially post reach), which has improved since the initial versions (namely separate profile info and separate chat feature). The community is great. People tend to be supportive on here, and if they're not, then they don't engage. Rare instances of trolls, but very easy to manage by hiding comments and/or blocking. So far, so good!

initially I wasn't to keen on this app. However if you use Instagram, threads is a must. Since I got the app I haven't regretted it as one does nowadays with so many nonsense apps that don't work properly. Threads has kinda 🐝 been an extension of Instagram and I have read and enjoyed some really intelligent posts and opinions of thread users. a welcome surprise. Not at all what I was expecting having read tons of reviews as I always due prior to deciding. Get it.

I edited this review: The typing bug makes it almosy unusable. In Threads, and only Threads, I will suddenly randomly have chunks of text repeated with every letter I type, huge sections will be deleted, and my cursor will just decide to start wherever it wants. Again, this is ONLY in Threads. Every other app I have is fine. Typing (which is basically one of maybe two ways to interact with Threads) simply doesn't work well.

Overall good, but has some issues it needs to work out. For instance, if you click on a post to read it, sometimes when you back out it will refresh automatically and you'll lose the post forever. I constantly have issues where the page refreshes automatically while I'm mid-reading and the whole thing is gone. It's very irritating. I still consider this to be a good app for social networking, and better than Twitter. It just has some issues to fix.

An unsung treasure, this app is great as an artist to let loose and build community in a way that's as engaging as old Tumblr and Twitter. It's definitely more for text posts, but it's really fun to ask questions and get feedback and see other people's art. It's a perfect companion to Insta, and the algorithm really is tailored to the way I use the app.

Could be great if all pages loaded when you clicked on them. Sometimes they just don't. Posts usually don't load at all. And my biggest thing: if you follow someone on Threads, you automatically follow them on Instagram as well. Either they're two separate apps or they're not. I would really like to be able to have a different list of people I follow on each app.
