So here's my take on Tides. I've tried a bunch of weather and tide apps, and this one's definitely one of the more comprehensive ones out there. It's got a ton of data and features, but it doesn't feel too cluttered or overwhelming. The tide predictions and forecasts have been accurate in my experience, and the offline mode is really handy. The only downside is the ads can get a bit much, but you can pay to remove them. Overall though, I'd say it's a pretty solid choice if you need an app to stay on top of tides, waves, and other ocean conditions.

Pros

  • Tons of data and features without being too complex
  • Offline mode works great, don't need internet for tide predictions
  • Graphics and UI are clean and easy to navigate
  • Free to use, don't have to pay to access core features

Cons

  • Ads can get annoying if you don't pay to remove them
  • Some of the more advanced features take a while to figure out
  • Wave forecasts not available for every location

Description

Been using Tides for a couple months now. It’s basically a weather app that gives you tide predictions, wave forecasts, and all kinds of other ocean data. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do – you can search for locations around the world and it’ll show you the high and low tide times, the tide curve, and the current predicted tide height. There’s also a map view, which is handy. And it’s got wave forecasts for over 5,600 spots, which is pretty cool if you’re into surfing or boating.

Look, if you’re into weather and tide info, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can be a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a reliable tide and ocean conditions app.
