Lately (the whole June), I was experiencing some glitches. For example, i'm searching for a video in the "search", watch different videos, and the audio is being taken from there and played multiple times, even if i exit the app and delete this fold. All I have to do is restart the phone at this point. It happened already 5 times. Please do something about it.
It wouldn't let me put in a nickname because my editing was "too fast." Edit: When I was changing my profile picture, the minimum image size is 250x250, but when I try putting in a 250x250 image, the app says that the image size is too small. Edit: i reinstalled the app just to get flipped off by the username part saying "connect to the internet and try again" even though I have fast, running internet connected to my phone. Fix your app!
It's been a great app! I have so many recipes I've saved, I've learned a lot from the different accounts on TikTok. However, in the last month or so, there have been really odd glitches, mainly tied to ads for a jewelry company, moderngents. It makes the app freeze, whatever sound was playing in the previous video now won't stop, even when the app is closed/force closed. I've had to reinstall TikTok at least three times in the last 2-3 weeks and it's still glitching from this ad.
Waste of an App. Account made over a month ago and still cannot follow accounts or like any content. The algorithm is supposed to be good, especially for small businesses and streamers, but it's not possible to use. I've tried multiple different things including clearing cache and storage, logging out and in, deleting the app, signing in on another device etc. Nothing works. Never had an issue like this with any other app.
For a month now, maybe a little longer, I haven't been able to use this app. I open it, it acts like it's going to show me a video, quickly puts another one on instead, and then crashes altogether. I have done everything the developers suggested, numerous times. Nothing has helped and I get a generic response when I email support. I was able to use tiktok lite for a few weeks but as of this morning I can no longer use it, either. It says my region is restricted all of a sudden. Frustrating.
MOST INFURIATING APP! It randomly started wanting me to verify my e-mail (no e-mails have shown up) and won't let me use the app until I do...I tried using my phone number, but it says that number is already in use. It's MY freaking number! I was using an account for crafting and made a second one to do history stuff...deleted that account hoping it would help and it only did for a minute. WORST APP EVER! DO NOT USE!
This is one of my favorite apps and I love it, but lately I've been having some issues. It takes too long to open, and maybe thats an issue of my phone, but sometimes it also closes out of nowhere when im trying to open it and i have to re install the app just go be able to open it. And talking about installing, when I install the app Im able to add notes to a repost, but after closing the app and opening it again that future is gone and It doesn't come back unless I re install tiktok.
the app itself is whatever- it's gone down a bit in quality with the fyp but the new AI bot (tiktok tako) is so unnecessary and annoying where I can't stand it. It's right where I put my thumb to scroll sometimes and I am constantly accidentally clicking on it, plus there's no way to get rid of it while you're watching videos. I don't see any use of the bot either, its just another way to add unneeded ai in the app. please just make an option to hide it at least on the front page.
Mostly fine. Algorithm is good. However its moderation needs serious work. Desperately want to be able to block users from their comments vs having to go to their profile. Support needs to be easier to contact. They do everything in their power to prevent you from contacting anyone. Also if you click on a link to a tiktok video all the app does is open to your FYP and does not take you to the video you have been sent even though it's a direct link. Frustrating.
Would love to give a higher rating if the app can stop crashing on itself every time I try to open it, recently. I restart my phone and the issue persists. Only thing that actually fixes the problem (temporarily) is to uninstall and redownload the app. It's not constant, either. Update: It's been over 2 months and the app STILL crashes when I try to open it. TikTok is garbage. Don't bother installing this trash until they actually decide to fix it.
