Edit: I had to come back to lower my 5-star rating to 2, considering it has been difficult to locate how many credits it takes for 1 page to fax. I remember being able to find this information in the app itself before. Now TinyFax is grossly prompting me to sign up for a weekly membership as if that's the only way to send a fax now in this changed app.. I read a review of a person saying they didn't know how much credits per page either. Is this type of gimmick to make profit worth it?
Reviews for Tiny Fax - Send Fax from Phone
← Back to Tiny Fax - Send Fax from Phone4 Stars because this app is thankfully significantly cheaper than most of these so called "free" fax apps. Most, if not all of these apps have the classic bait-and-switch that another user mentioned in which the app itself is free to download but you have to pay to fax more than two pages. And realistically anything under the sun that has to be recieved by fax will be at least 3 pages. All in all better than most but it's still gross how y'all just can't be honest about what is and isn't free.
No more trips too the "Office" store to pay $2+ dollars per page faxes. As long as you have a good phone camera, this works great. Recommend tiny scanner app in conjunction with this one. You can scan and edit with the scanner, then import to fax. Once you start the fax you can go back to other things and when it's done you'll get a notification letting you know if it was sent successfully, or it failed.
Very convenient app! For people like me who have just a standard printer/scanner and hate having to go use their work fax machine 😑 or going to a local office max , etc... Then this app is a freakin lifesaver. I've saved so much of my time sending in all kinds of documents in compared to the time it would take to go somewhere to do it or have to actually buy a printer with fax 😳 machine. Cheap, fast, easy to use, hassle free. Failure to send fax, can be frustrating though.
It does what it is made for. I have send documents a couple times through my phone to fax machines and it never failed. You have to pay for each page and it makes sence, because how else the app will generate money to exist if they don't sell your information to a third party. Overall, it's a good app if you need to send documents once in a while, takes much less time than regular mail and much less money then buying a huge fax machine.
It works fairly well, albeit slow. I have sent several faxes, most with success. A fax that had been "sucessful!" actually was not, and did not know this. Make sure you always recheck your "failed" box and you will know if a fax did not send. In my case, my area code was off by 1 digit. Easily corrected and resent. The whole process is easy, just takes several minutes to send, sometimes 5 minutes.
It worked. I needed to fax one page in a rush. I had a little difficulty with it after I paid for credits and it wouldn't recognize that I did butit finally pulled through for me. Credits start at $2.49 for 50 credits and it took 10 credits to fax one page. I have used a free service before but couldn't find it. I know they are out there. I was also a little scared because the GRAMMAR is horrible but it was pretty smooth and self explanatory. Success again! Thank you.! It wouldn't upload a document from Google drive but I just used a different cloud and it worked.
I love it. It is easy to use and allows me to fax documents without a fax machine quickly and inexpensively. Prior to getting this app I always had to go to Kinko's. Update August 2023: I really don't get how other people aren't using this. For me, as the mom of kids with disabilities the amount of paperwork I need to send places is unbelievable and faxing is often the quickest way to get it there. Absolutely amazing app!
I've been using this app for almost 1 month and it is the easiest faxing app to use! Everyday you can earn free credits to use whenever you need to fax anything. I only had to pay a few $$ to get started and now I just use my free credits to submit a fax when I need to. Highly recommend this app for those who don't need to do a lot of faxing! Super simple, super easy!
Been trying to Fax something important for months now, but I'm a boomer and can't figure it out. Either I can't access a fax machine or when I do, something goes wrong due to the machine or user error. It crossed my mind to try an app and this is the one that seemed easiest to use and most straightforward. I just watched a few ads to get "points" and then used those points to fax. Just take a picture of your papers and click fax, if you're like me and never sent a fax before this was simple.
Good easy app to send faxes via your mobile phone. You can earn free faxes by watching videos, each page is 10 credits for USA and Canada. More if you go international. I was able to send 4 or 5 over the course of a week or two for free, after that I had to purchase credits to continue to send. They do offer an unlimited plan weekly monthly or annually if you fax a lot of things often. Over all it is simple and easy to use.
Download, buy credits, use camera, click camera. Couldn't be much easier. Use contrasting background for document and its automatically cropped. Keep in mind you'll see some delay before completion, just like an actual fax machine. 15 or 100 credits lowest options for a two page doc, but maybe I will have to use this again so 80 credit balance for the future.
It worked the first time! I'll update the rating if it doesn't work next time, but the app is easy to use and almost painfully simple. I kept thinking that I was missing some steps because it was so simple. You do need to buy credits to even send one document, but honestly folks, how do we expect companies to operate if we don't actually pay them. Great product so far.
Nice app, let me do everything I needed step by step, and I've never sent a fax before. I missed the part where you need to buy credits to send faxes, but I have a bunch of Google Play credits saved up from the Google Opinions Rewards app (seriously, if you're not using that app, you're missing out) and what the hell, I'll pay for convenience here.
I paid $2.49 for 50 credits. It cost 10 credit per copy. The next package is $9.99 for 250 credits. I dont remember the other packages. Its cheaper than most places. It also saves your unsent and sent documents. Mines was sent in less than 3 minutes. I enjoy the convenience. Pretty much you'll pay 25 cent per copy. Hope this helps...
Used to be a good app, Now they just want your money. I had to spend close to 20 bucks to send in some unemployment paperwork. Is app to be free to use with ads. And on top of spending all that money just as to fax a couple of pages, they automatically enroll you in monthly purchases. really disappointed with these guys and I will be uninstalling this as soon as I post. Don't be sucked in, there are plenty of other cheaper fax apps!
I selected the app since I am currently dealing with lots of documents that need to be faxed in a timely fashion. I thought this would be great since the tiny scanner has been great. But this is a joke it doesn't work. I began sending a fax yesterday, and still this morning, it reflected as sending. There were no updates, and finally, at noon, it gave me the "not sent" alert. It is a 3 day trial that I will unsubcribe for ASAP.
I like the ease of scanning the papers and sending the fax. False advertisement, free app, no. It is based on the fact it only allows one free fax and then offers a weekly rate of 4.99 and up. Don't need the fax except for a few papers to be sent. Now I need to find another app to send one more fax. 😄 silly
I'm happy! It went through the first time. No problems. I do wish though when apps claim that they are "free", that they don't mean the app itself? But that actually using it is free also. I really don't like opening a free app and finding out it costs 10¢ a page -which isn't much) but there is a minimum fee off $5 or $10. In the brick and mortar world this is called 'bait and switch" and it is a fraudulent business practice. When will the internet catch up?
App states first fax is free. It doesn't tell you is that it has a two page limit and a cover letter (which is an essential part of sending/receiving a fax), counts as the first two pages if you need to write a note along with the recipients information, which is also important. Deleted the two pages I scanned and didn't send. I rarely need to fax anything. Deleted the app since it's not worth the subscription price. Would have considered the sub if it actually let me send the first one free.
