Edit: I had to come back to lower my 5-star rating to 2, considering it has been difficult to locate how many credits it takes for 1 page to fax. I remember being able to find this information in the app itself before. Now TinyFax is grossly prompting me to sign up for a weekly membership as if that's the only way to send a fax now in this changed app.. I read a review of a person saying they didn't know how much credits per page either. Is this type of gimmick to make profit worth it?
Reviews for Tiny Fax – Send Fax from Phone
4 Stars because this app is thankfully significantly cheaper than most of these so called "free" fax apps. Most, if not all of these apps have the classic bait-and-switch that another user mentioned in which the app itself is free to download but you have to pay to fax more than two pages. And realistically anything under the sun that has to be recieved by fax will be at least 3 pages. All in all better than most but it's still gross how y'all just can't be honest about what is and isn't free.
No more trips too the "Office" store to pay $2+ dollars per page faxes. As long as you have a good phone camera, this works great. Recommend tiny scanner app in conjunction with this one. You can scan and edit with the scanner, then import to fax. Once you start the fax you can go back to other things and when it's done you'll get a notification letting you know if it was sent successfully, or it failed.
Very convenient app! For people like me who have just a standard printer/scanner and hate having to go use their work fax machine 😑 or going to a local office max , etc... Then this app is a freakin lifesaver. I've saved so much of my time sending in all kinds of documents in compared to the time it would take to go somewhere to do it or have to actually buy a printer with fax 😳 machine. Cheap, fast, easy to use, hassle free. Failure to send fax, can be frustrating though.
It does what it is made for. I have send documents a couple times through my phone to fax machines and it never failed. You have to pay for each page and it makes sence, because how else the app will generate money to exist if they don't sell your information to a third party. Overall, it's a good app if you need to send documents once in a while, takes much less time than regular mail and much less money then buying a huge fax machine.
It works fairly well, albeit slow. I have sent several faxes, most with success. A fax that had been "sucessful!" actually was not, and did not know this. Make sure you always recheck your "failed" box and you will know if a fax did not send. In my case, my area code was off by 1 digit. Easily corrected and resent. The whole process is easy, just takes several minutes to send, sometimes 5 minutes.
It worked. I needed to fax one page in a rush. I had a little difficulty with it after I paid for credits and it wouldn't recognize that I did butit finally pulled through for me. Credits start at $2.49 for 50 credits and it took 10 credits to fax one page. I have used a free service before but couldn't find it. I know they are out there. I was also a little scared because the GRAMMAR is horrible but it was pretty smooth and self explanatory. Success again! Thank you.! It wouldn't upload a document from Google drive but I just used a different cloud and it worked.
I love it. It is easy to use and allows me to fax documents without a fax machine quickly and inexpensively. Prior to getting this app I always had to go to Kinko's. Update August 2023: I really don't get how other people aren't using this. For me, as the mom of kids with disabilities the amount of paperwork I need to send places is unbelievable and faxing is often the quickest way to get it there. Absolutely amazing app!
I've been using this app for almost 1 month and it is the easiest faxing app to use! Everyday you can earn free credits to use whenever you need to fax anything. I only had to pay a few $$ to get started and now I just use my free credits to submit a fax when I need to. Highly recommend this app for those who don't need to do a lot of faxing! Super simple, super easy!
Been trying to Fax something important for months now, but I'm a boomer and can't figure it out. Either I can't access a fax machine or when I do, something goes wrong due to the machine or user error. It crossed my mind to try an app and this is the one that seemed easiest to use and most straightforward. I just watched a few ads to get "points" and then used those points to fax. Just take a picture of your papers and click fax, if you're like me and never sent a fax before this was simple.
