Reviews for tinyCam Monitor PRO for IP Cam

I have a combo camera setup and only can view one. Didn't see options to control everything as much as the junk app that came with the cameras. I kind of paid for the app for no reason. not even the same capabilities as the manufacturer's app.....

I have figured out about 15% of the whole app and how to connect the cameras, since it isn't as easy for just some guy that's just used to plug and play but I'm trying to have all of my cameras running in one app and I think this might be a great one once I figure out all of the terms and different protocols and such. But I was able to connect a few already and I can see them on the same screen which is just awesome ! Will keep trying to figure everything out because this app has lots and lots and lots of features! Thanks a lot guys!

App unstable in recording, stopped for no reason after several days. Using an old device not an option as it is resource hungry, for what ever reason it requires a lot of cpu to save a 1mbit/s stream. Also issue with recording to both local usb device and ftp server, only halve of stream is saved (in my case only 15 minutes for every 30 minute interval). Tried to contact developer by email but no reaction.

The app only works well with wireless as of the last update. It struggles to stream with lte connection for me. Please fix this, I do not want to have to go searching for another app as they all seem to be poorly reviewed. I found that changing to the sub stream works much better. App is now working for me. When you are looking at the main menu towards the bottom, there is a place to choose MAIN, SUB, or AUTO. I changed this from MAIN to SUB and it fixed my issue with the app.

I tried the free app with a couple of DLink 5020 cameras on both on and off the local network. The cameras were easy to add with the user interface. Since everything has been working very well I've added several more cameras and purchased the pro version. Thank you for your time and effort in putting this app together. Keep up the great work. -Brian

This app capably displays and manages the cameras we have, despite them all being different and - in some cases - somewhat obscure. It offers options for use on a lower bandwidth cellular network (so you don't rinse your data allowance in a few minutes.. be careful leaving it running in the background, though!) and the pro version allows recording and audio monitoring. Pretty much the definitive IP camera app.

Paid for app, but sometimes, on my main phone that I've used for year, all of a sudden, it may randomly complain, thinking that it's not paid for! How do I get that to stop? Also, how can I "transfer" my purchase from an old email address (this one) to the new email address I use all the time? I shouldn't have to purchase again just for an email change!?? Please advise.

Bought PRO last year. Never worked properly. 🤔 Just gave up. Trying to set it up again tonight and it's Even worse. What's going on? Think the free version was better. 🤔 Need help please. New error. "P2P failed to init AVAPI (-20031)." cameras will work for a second then nothing. Can't get them to work. wyze v3. Trying to set up 2 before adding the other 3. Free version was less problematic.

Good for watching multiple cameras at the same time (3 per screen). Can be quite slow to connect and I can't find an option to pan the cameras so it's quite limited. It was cheap though and there are no adverts. Setting up cameras isn't very intuitive.

Best app to view swann cameras on. As long as you know the IP address of any camera you can set this up easy. Safe no unusual permissions needed. Easy setup search for cameras on your network once you find the first camera just press copy and it move to next camera for you. Well worth the coin. 5years later and still a great reliable app. Well done dev. video quality is dependant on your recorder, wifi bandwidth and modem, stop blaming the dev for something that's not under his control. it works

So good for adding multiple cameras and being able to view them on your device when you open the app to look. Motion detector and recordings do not work unless you physically have the app open or running in background mode which means your device is on, draining battery and running the camera software manually 100 percent of the time. If you are looking for an app to avoid paying for multiple cloud services and uploading to dropbox etc this is not that app.

Worked great, until recently. Now I find that one of my cameras will not stream video when more than one camera is displayed at a time (whereas in the past, it was able to show multiple cameras without any problems). If I want to see the video, I actually have to click on the camera itself. This feels like a bug that was introduced in the last version... please fix to get your 2 stars back!!!

It works great, I'm able to see and control my cameras via my phone or tablet . Best of all, I can see all of my cameras from one page. Each camera brand has its own app that takes care of that brands cameras. By comparison, TinyCam works with just about any camera and does it easily. I figured it out on the spot right out of the box. It's really simple. If I can do it, then anyone can do it. I bought the Pro version because it's worth it.

This is a great app for monitoring your cameras. It's a lot faster than Wyzes app and you can see multiple cameras at a time. However, there are a few issues. Widgets are practically useless because when the image comes out, it's very glitched. Also, sometimes the app crashes when one of the cameras load. Please fix and I'll give a higher rating

For all of those saying, "it used to work fine, but it now only holds a feed for a short time." Try this, and I know its can be a pain if you have a lot of devices...but...simply reboot your router. I've only tried it once, but it's going on 3 weeks with no problems. (If I may... unplug your router, reboot your modem...give it a minute, than reboot your router. And ideally, unhook as much of the Wi-Fi from your devices as you can, then re-connect one at a time.) But a router reboot, at least.

Update 7/2022 app is unusable for wyzecam lately. Easily the best camera software! I'll start by saying I've been using this app for years, on multiple devices from phones, tablets and even TV's. It just works and has every feature you could want and then some. Also makes THE BEST baby monitor when combined with an inexpensive wifi camera. Can be set to run in the background and turn the sound on when it hears sounds. If the sounds are concerning then you look at the camera .

Best IP camera viewer app I found. I was looking for something minimalistic that lets me control PTZ and presets, with minimal latency, and this works great for all that. I wish there was a way to simplify the interface further in Settings (for example I don't need the button for "tasker commands" to always be on the screen, and I have a feeling most other people don't either). Would be nice to be able to show presets and PTZ at once too, and to show more presets at once. Maybe expand the GUI customization features in Settings? But great app, still 5 stars.

Great app. It works perfectly with my Wyze cams. Is it possible to create profiles, or group of cameras? I have three cameras at home that are connected to an unlimited bandwidth Internet connection. I have four more cameras connected at a second location which has a monthly bandwidth limit. I would like to select which group of cameras I am wanting to look at without loading all seven of them into the live view stream when I launch the app.

Nearly perfect app! Haven't come across a camera yet that hasn't worked with it. Yes, even ones not in the apps list will work if you follow the instructions in the FAQ. The only 2 things it is missing in my opinion is a way to export/save your configurations, and a way to import configurations. This would be nice for backing up or moving to another device.

I think ppl rate this app as high as they do because they haven't seen better. While the developers have been lucky enough to strike relationships with the likes of WYzeCam, the app itself performs poorly. Even with low bandwidth selected, it still hogs bandwidth. Further, it is very poor at "maintaining connection" which when it comes to security, u you don't want video feed to drop if you are trying to view something important. I have seen apps that do much better. @Dev, for me all you have going is your ability to watch WyzeCams. Otherwise I would rate TinyCam even lower than I did. Thumbs down!
