New update and it doesn't work anymore. I can't enter anything, as soon as I try to type is just goes black and says "press back again to exit". Cool.

Purchased the pro version around December 2017. Recently had to uninstall it and when I tried to redownload it, it is no longer available. Not only did I lose all of my data, but I can not redownload the app I purchased. I emailed the support email and have heard nothing back. This is frustrating and I feel like the creators just do not care. I have been using tipsee since 2015, but if this is not rectified in some way I will be switching to another tip tracker.

Been using this app for a few days now, trying to enter all my hours in for this month, and the app keeps glitching. I watched a video for free pro version and I still get ads popping up. I put the app in the background and it resets the app. I log onto the app and it appears all my info is gone. Or I can only access and see one of the jobs I've entered for the day, when I worked and input 2 different jobs. Very disappointed

I don't know what happened to like 50% of the options, but not being able to enter my hourly wage anymore sucks.

Been using this for 4 years... I used the free version for a long time, but the ads were frustrating. So I switched to the Ad-Free version through subscription and it's been worth every penny. I love seeing my monthly and yearly breakdown without distractions... Everyone who makes tips or income should be tracking them with Tipsee. I highly recommend this to y'all!

I've had the app for a few years and its a good app. the only problem that I've really had is I have lost previous years more than once even though I clicked the back up in the options but still a really good app and easy to use.

UPDATE: 08172025 Recently had to do a factory reset on my phone and I lost all the data for TipSee. I reached out to their customer support to figure out how to backup the new app. The instructed me how to do so. AWESOME

I generally don't mind ads. It's a tradeoff for free. But I got full page pop ups and requests to watch videos before I was done registering and signing in. Watched several videos in 15 mins, all claiming ads would stop if I watched. Tips entered for credit cards disappeared after leaving app. Totals change before/after watching videos. I know the hope is the ads are annoying enough to make people pay. But it went too far. Experience was sooo spammer-ish I won't trust them with credit card info

Constant Crashes I would usually rate this at 4 stars but this latest update is killing me. If you accidentally tilt your phone, the screen goes black and crashes. Some of the menu buttons do the same. On top of that, you're forced to re-watch the intro ads to gain full access which wouldn't be that big a deal - IF THE APP DIDN'T CRASH EVERY 5 MINUTES.

I have used this app religiously for 4 years and LOVE it! Recently I switched my phones and was having issues with importing my local backup. After emailing customer support, they were able to upload my spreadsheet to the remote backup page so I could import it. I was so grateful that I didn't have to lose 4 years of data. The rep I dealt with (Nick) was incredibly helpful and so quick to respond. I couldn't be anymore satisfied!

I've had this app for a long time. I'm in a hair Industry and it helps me tremendously with my budgeting. I went to log my day in and EVERYTHING WAS DELETED! No option to put tips in, it's just my work hours. Im very disappointed that they let loyal consumers down to get a "modern look". They updated layout in my opinion isn't all that great either.

I've had tipsee since 2015, all my years backed up and have referred to it many times over the months. Recently when my phone updated my app kept crashing so I re-downloaded the new app. I had some trouble importing my data so I contacted customer service and they responded so quickly and helped me get all my data back on the new app. They were so quick and efficient and I'm so happy with the service and the app!

Excellent app when it works. However I paid for the pro features with an annual subscription in April and now, 8 months later, it's reverted to the free version and won't allow me to access the services I've paid for without endless pop-up video ads that I paid to eliminate!! I've uninstalled/reinstalled several times, rebooted my device, nothing updates it and restores the pro features I've paid for and no response from the company with email attempts to reach customer service. Very upsetting.

Constant ads popping up nowadays. Change a month to view income, boom another add. Click on a day, boom another ad. What gives? Wasn't always like this. Edit: dev did respond but almost sounds antagonistic in a way. To clarify, I'm not referring to small ads in the bottom or corner of the screen. I have zero issue with those. I'm referring to pop up full screen video ads that kick me out of the month or day that I was on. It doesn't matter how many ads I watch, the cycle continues.

I opted to pay for the yearly charge (and have no ads), and it was soooo worth it! The ads become too much (almost to the point every other click there would be a pop up ad), so I tried a different tip tracking app. But decided to come back to this and pay for the service because I love the layout, the ease to look over my month, and how quickly I can put in my tips and hourly.

Edit: once I was able to "verify" my account, the app seemed to start working better. It's still a little glitchy and sometimes clicking a button won't do anything at all... but overall? Now that the app is working the way it's supposed to? It's a really decent tip tracker! It's been my go-to tip tracking app for a decade! Original review: I can't add wages or do anything in this app? The font seems too big/runs off the edge of the screen, clicking on things doesn't do anything most of the time?

Used this app for years. Actually purchased the pro version back in the day for a one time fee of maybe $1.99? Absolutely loved it and recommended it to all my co-workers. I was able to track daily tips, tip-outs, commission by %, and hrly rates. Unfortunately, I upgraded phone and "lost" all previous data. Says no account found. New version of app is annoying to set up and extremely expensive. I was able to transfer years of previous data to phone prior to current one. Not sure why I can't now

I understand that the FREE version is FREE with ADS. What I don't understand is why there are so many. I was on the app for about 3 minutes and had 5 pop-ups. I used this app years ago (around 2014) and there weren't this many ads back then. Reading the customer service responses to the reviews is appalling. Stop being so hateful to anyone who isn't happy with your app. Now I understand why EVERY SINGLE SERVER I know that used to use tipsee, doesn't anymore. Great job! 👎

I've had this app for years and I love it ! Until recently. It asked me to login in. Never had to do that before. So I tried logging in and that didn't work. I tried registering the account. It kept telling me to verify the account with the link they sent to my email. Never got an email. So I tried to uninstall and try again and I lost YEARS of data. Not cool !!

Suddenly not permitting the "watch video to unlock" features option. I've used this app to track my tips since early 2015. A few years ago it upgraded WHAT you could track which was SOOO helpful!! Everyone would ask, "how was this day in past years" and I could look and see my sales, tips, Tipout, hourly wages and anything special I'd write in the notes (weather, events, call offs) Now it's ONLY the bare minimum with no watch to unlock options. :( So sad. I miss my App!
