New update and it doesn't work anymore. I can't enter anything, as soon as I try to type is just goes black and says "press back again to exit". Cool.
Purchased the pro version around December 2017. Recently had to uninstall it and when I tried to redownload it, it is no longer available. Not only did I lose all of my data, but I can not redownload the app I purchased. I emailed the support email and have heard nothing back. This is frustrating and I feel like the creators just do not care. I have been using tipsee since 2015, but if this is not rectified in some way I will be switching to another tip tracker.
Been using this app for a few days now, trying to enter all my hours in for this month, and the app keeps glitching. I watched a video for free pro version and I still get ads popping up. I put the app in the background and it resets the app. I log onto the app and it appears all my info is gone. Or I can only access and see one of the jobs I've entered for the day, when I worked and input 2 different jobs. Very disappointed
I don't know what happened to like 50% of the options, but not being able to enter my hourly wage anymore sucks.
Been using this for 4 years... I used the free version for a long time, but the ads were frustrating. So I switched to the Ad-Free version through subscription and it's been worth every penny. I love seeing my monthly and yearly breakdown without distractions... Everyone who makes tips or income should be tracking them with Tipsee. I highly recommend this to y'all!
I've had the app for a few years and its a good app. the only problem that I've really had is I have lost previous years more than once even though I clicked the back up in the options but still a really good app and easy to use.
UPDATE: 08172025 Recently had to do a factory reset on my phone and I lost all the data for TipSee. I reached out to their customer support to figure out how to backup the new app. The instructed me how to do so. AWESOME
I generally don't mind ads. It's a tradeoff for free. But I got full page pop ups and requests to watch videos before I was done registering and signing in. Watched several videos in 15 mins, all claiming ads would stop if I watched. Tips entered for credit cards disappeared after leaving app. Totals change before/after watching videos. I know the hope is the ads are annoying enough to make people pay. But it went too far. Experience was sooo spammer-ish I won't trust them with credit card info
Constant Crashes I would usually rate this at 4 stars but this latest update is killing me. If you accidentally tilt your phone, the screen goes black and crashes. Some of the menu buttons do the same. On top of that, you're forced to re-watch the intro ads to gain full access which wouldn't be that big a deal - IF THE APP DIDN'T CRASH EVERY 5 MINUTES.
I have used this app religiously for 4 years and LOVE it! Recently I switched my phones and was having issues with importing my local backup. After emailing customer support, they were able to upload my spreadsheet to the remote backup page so I could import it. I was so grateful that I didn't have to lose 4 years of data. The rep I dealt with (Nick) was incredibly helpful and so quick to respond. I couldn't be anymore satisfied!
