The discounted seats in the theater I went to were less desirable, off to the side a little but not bad seats. The whole stage was viewable . I appreciated the discount. Offset the congestion toll I had to pay to get there. And the app was easy to use. Would definitely use this app again, and highly recommend it.
Pushed to extreme and no good tickets. I've used them in the past with great success, but lately no good seats were available. The Notification settings say "once in a while we may also send... Ha, try every few hours! Way too many notifications and few good deals have put the app on notice - fewer notifications, more good deals, or good bye!
I have been using the TodayTix app since 2016. Before the pandemic, received great service from the agents. The prices were affordable and the seat selection were generally to my liking. At the end of 2021, when Broadway reopened, I was nervous about the new normal in ticketing. Their electronic tickets have been available timely and are easy to use. Their Customer Service representatives listen to your questions, are extremely courteous and provide sensible solutions!
Very easy app to use. I was told about the app by a group online. They notified me weekly about tickets that were on sale. I looked and saw what I wanted to see, Kinky Boots and it was about $50. I noticed that that booth in Times Square were selling them for $90 !! So this was about half the price. It was easy to pick up my tickets and seats were not bad.
Great app for purchasing tickets that you absolutely plan to use, cuz if you ever need to cancel, get ready for a long drawn out ordeal. You will actively have to contact Today Tix cuz they don't and it's never a smooth process... even if you purchase their ticket cancellation insurance!! They don't follow through with promises to contact so it is always up to you to hunt them down, speaking to several different people or epartments. They'll gladly take your money, but never want to give it back
This app is good for last minute cheaper than original price ticketing but they don't tell you or i missed the info about ticket fees. Not only do you pay the fee on the ticket price but another fee added when purchasing. Aside from fees, the availability of Rush Tickets may be limited. When selecting # of tickets, only 2 options. And the options come and go quickly for the popular shows. All-in-all, if i really want to see a show, I'd do it again.
Frustratingly slow. I don't know if there was a lag because other winners were trying to claim lottery tickets or not...but lost tickets because time ran out. Fortunately, I was able to get tickets with the second win. It too took a while for the purchase to go thru. Had to exit and reload a couple of times to successfully make purchase. Not the same problem with outright purchase. Love the discount tickets!!
very easy way to get theatre tickets. Sometimes they have sales. Reputable and I've never had an issue with the tickets I've purchased. HOWEVER, they advertise rush seats. Not once in 2 years have I been able to purchase them. I've done the alerts, clicked as the countdown clock ended. Peak days and non-peak days, the tickets are always "being held by other customers" I've come to the conclusion that it's just a gimmick and rush seats don't actually exist, but oh look, can still buy full price!
Easy to use. Gave this app 5 stars almost 4 years ago. My rating would have gone up if there were a way to give 6 stars. I get tickets though the app often. The process is transparent enough that I know what I am getting before I buy. One alert: no returns, no changes. Think before you buy. It is frustrating that the app defaults to requiring that all seats bought at once be physically together. Recently, when there were not many seats left, I had to make multiple purchases to get 3 tickets.
there were 6 of us traveling to NYC and we tried to buy our broadway tickets through this app. The app didn't work for any of us. however, every one of us had charges and refunds show up on our credit cards. the app is advertised everywhere in NYC, but it just doesn't work. When six people on different phones, different platforms, and different payment methods all can't make it work, I would say they have some major work to do.
