So here's my take on TomTom - Maps & Traffic. I've tried a bunch of different navigation apps and this one's up there as one of the more solid options. The GPS and traffic features are really robust, and I like how the app gives you extra details like lane guidance. Definitely better than just relying on Google Maps. The downsides are that the maps can be a bit out of date and the voice controls are hit or miss. But overall, if you need a trustworthy GPS app, TomTom is a great choice.

Description

Been using TomTom – Maps & Traffic for a couple months now. It’s basically a navigation app that gives you turn-by-turn GPS directions. Pretty solid if you do a lot of driving, whether it’s for your daily commute or weekend road trips.

The app’s got all the features you’d expect – detailed maps, real-time traffic alerts, lane guidance, etc. There’s also voice control, which is super handy when you’re behind the wheel. And the routing is pretty accurate, it usually gets me where I need to go efficiently.

Look, if you spend a lot of time on the road, you’ll probably find this app really useful. It’s not perfect – the maps can be a bit outdated sometimes and the voice commands don’t always work great – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a reliable navigation app.

Since the update from AmiGo to TomTom, settings (like 3d buildings, traffic flow etc.) set in the app on phone do not apply when using the app on Android auto....
