So here's my honest take on Tor OBD2 Diagnostics. I've tested a bunch of car diagnostic apps and this one's pretty solid. The features are comprehensive without being overwhelming, and it's easy to use even if you're not a total gearhead. The error code library is super handy, and I like that you can run tests on specific components. The only downside is the Bluetooth connection can be spotty at times, but that's more of an issue with the hardware than the app itself. Overall, it's a great option if you're looking for a capable OBD2 tool without spending a ton of money.

Description

Been using Tor OBD2 Diagnostics for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you diagnose issues with your car using an ELM327 Bluetooth/WiFi adapter. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you can check engine codes, get live sensor data like speed and temperature, and even run tests on individual components. And there’s also a big library of error code definitions – over 17,000 – so you can figure out what’s wrong. And the app has a nice clean dashboard to display all the info, which is pretty useful.

Look, if you’re into working on your own car, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the connection can be finicky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an affordable OBD2 tool.

It used to work. It got updated in the last few months and now it is 100% useless. Too bad, they had something nice and now it is garbage.

Too many ads. Wants personal info before you can check the app and see if it will suit your needs. Also, it put a lot of junk in my phone...

not working. when connected to BT and fault codes requested, a blank screen pops over the "dashboard/ work screen" and you cannot read what it says as a result
