An app will never get more than 2 points from me if I'm forced to update before i can use it. Standing at the checkout, tried to bring up the app to show my rewards barcode, and it wouldn't let me until I updated the app. Many people in line, I was hurried to just enter my phone number. I mistyped it but the clerk proceeded before i clicked Enter, so someone else got my points, and I didn't get to use my rewards I'd redeemed.

Annoying waste of time Trying to buy top beer. Chose category, searched, filtered results. Start scrolling & trying to select a few. Everything shows "available" or "limited quantity." Fine, I can go with one of each. Except that none of my TOP 9 CHOICES get added to cart. Click on each item to find out they are "not available." Bad enough the store is out of everything. But, mainly, if the items are NOT available, why do they show on search??! What's the app for? Quicker to go to store...

The app is well organized, functional and has lots of information. Prices apparently are also the same as in store unlike if someone orders from Total wine and More using instacart, however there is a delivery charge. For me it's about $9. When I decide to use the app for delivery instead of pickup, I make the decision that that is worth it for the convenience and the distance of the store but you can also order pick up at no additional charge.

The app's "Spirits" part is no longer available. Not sure why. It's been several days now. I cannot even find liquor by searching for it by name. However, I had some in my "Favorites" list, and i can view them that way. Also, my previous orders are no longer viewable. There is one order that i see, and that order only had wine in it. But as the other orders, in store and online are gone. Even if they fix all that, I'd still like the ability to write personal notes/reminders about items.

Easy to use, love having my orders ready when I park and pick up. I'm handicapped so this is much easier than going in-store. Also like having a record of past purchases. BUMMER, doesn't work since update!ITS WORKING AGAIN! I should also mention I don't drink alcohol, but they have a huge selection of non-alcoholic wines and beers, much more than I've seen anywhere else.

Doesn't matter how many times you put in your local store location, it always resets it to a store in another city 50 miles away. Has a bug if you sign in and you've forgotten your password and you click the link they send you to re-enter your password, it automatically signs you in. Lets you shop by name for items you want, but they're always out of stock. Maybe that's just the store, but why allow a search on something you don't carry. Myriad other small and large annoyances.

Currently seems broken. I couldn't add a credit card. Had to go to the website to do it. Seems adding a credit card doesn't ask for your name on the card and may break it. On top of that, after correcting my payment information on the website. I tried to use the app to finish my delivery order and that broke too. Said I didn't verify my address. Which it definitely was verified. However, going into the website allowed me to send it. Key features of app broken.

Good for looking up wines and availability at my local store. Major issue with shopping/ordering is vintage is often, actually usually, not shown. I never buy rose unless I know the year. Checkout process needs a little work. Some steps like payment are not as clear as they should be. Indication and use of loyalty ID and reward coupons work well.

Horrible setting up experience. Wouldn't allow changing credit card billing address to full first name and allow me to keep the abbreviated name on the account. Also, DEMANDED an email address be listed before I could add someone to possibly pick up, and that person doesn't have an email, but has a cell phone. Had to enter credit card in four times to finally get the order placed. I could have driven there myself instead of spending the time fighting with the app to set it up.

The app is slow as of Christmas, too much spinning when making selections. Selecting "Favorites" only tells other people your favorites and doesn't save them for you to select YOUR own favorites, so you have to search for them every time. Orders can't be repeated to save time. The only reason I have it one star (besides not being able to give it zero) is that it's nice to make orders and pick it up later.

This is an update. The messages section of the app is a mess. Multiple messages on the same date saying the same thing and painstakingly difficult to delete them. The app works very well for the most part. Purchases are easy to make and I really love being able to access the information about my local store's tastings and classes. I would love to have a "save for later" feature in the shopping cart. Also, if I could add a note for myself to items on my list that would be great.

It's great to be able to browse and sort through the immense selection that total wine has. Placing an order for pickup makes going to the liquor store a breeze. 3 stars though because the app is very very very slow to use. Subdivisions of alcohol are poorly laid out/defined, especially within beers. When navigating between screens, touch actions are not registered sometimes for up to 30s and then occasionally register in the wrong place. The sort function was completely disabled tonight.

Overall a pretty good app. It would be nice if you could sort the deals by beer, wine, liquor, etc. It would also be awesome if they added a coupon wallet. You send me mailers with coupons, but I'll never use them because I'm not interested in carrying around a piece of paper. Let me scan it into my app so I can scan it at the register.

Super buggy when trying to add more than one of a single item type. If I try to add a second bottle of anything to my cart after selecting it, the screen pops up for like a half second and then disappears again. Came here because I thought there might be an update that solved that, but nope. Please feel free to reach out to me, Support, for a video screenshot or better explanation. I'm on a Samsung S24+ with newest app version.

It works well...when it works. At times unable to bring up order in app when at the store for pickup. I have been trying for 3 days to add a pickup date, but the app just has a bar that goes up and down the screen in one motion, but doesn't allow a pickup date Entry. I have now missed a great 20% off sale. FIX THE BUGS. S23 Ultra w/current updates to phone and app.

The app is too slow & takes too long to process orders. it gets stuck & takes 4-ever to complete an order. They should also offer discounts on delivery like free delivery on orders over certain amount regardless of what ur ordering. I have also noticed their website does not show the correct inventory. It will say only 6 available but when u call the store they have more available. Website needs updating big time!!!! 😔

Super slow and glitchy, but with patience you can get it done! Search function isn't perfect, I have been unable to find items I KNOW are in the store but can't find the right name. I've searched by brand name and that also didn't work. Overall using the search function is incredibly slow, glitchy, and tracks the # of times you tap while it's frozen, so it's kind of a mess.

terrible. installed app. went to store and purchased hundreds of dollars on initial store opening. at register, the system could not find my name, email, or phone number. manager says buy and you can put missing rewards in the next day. I say fine. Next day, I login, request missing rewards, put in my cash register receipt info, and the system says not available. the app is junk. needs a total rewrite. maybe this time in C and not visual basic. Really just a bad experience.

The app will not allow me to enter my cell phone number as gives me an error message every time I try. So I cannot use it in the store as they tell me I need to have my cell linked. and then when I try to add my receipt for the missing points, it too gives me an error stating that information is wrong. I verified multiple times from the receipt, the info is correct. Will no longer purchase from Total Wine.

Fairly easy to use app, layout is tidy as well. Not 5 stars because your Promo codes never work...follow the requirements exactly, yet I get an error message every time, so that feels a bit scammy/baiting - its ALWAYS the free delivery codes, too...either with spending a certain amount or the one advertised during the grand opening of a location in our area (tried a couple of times, but it didn't work for whatever reason) Selection is nice, though.
