So here's my honest take on Transit GO Ticket. I've tried a bunch of transit payment apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The convenience of being able to buy tickets right from my phone is super handy, and I like that it works across all the different bus, train, and ferry systems. The trip planning is a nice extra feature too. The only real downside is that the purchasing flow can be a bit unintuitive at times, but it's not a dealbreaker. If you ride public transit regularly, this is definitely worth having in your app arsenal.

Description

Been using Transit GO Ticket for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you buy bus, train, and ferry tickets right on your phone. Pretty solid if you take public transit a lot.

Here’s what you can do – you can buy single ride tickets or day passes, and they work on all the major transit systems around Seattle. And there’s also a trip planning feature which is pretty useful if you’re not familiar with the routes. And you can even buy tickets for friends and family, which is a nice bonus.

Look, if you’re a frequent public transit rider, you’ll probably really like this app. It’s not perfect – the ticket purchasing process can be a bit clunky sometimes – but overall it does the job and saves you from having to carry cash or a paper ticket. Worth checking out if you want a more convenient way to pay for your rides.
