Reviews for TREAT: Play & impact REAL dogs

Love that this game helps real dogs, but it's difficult to do when you want to. The "time you'll get more rolls" at the bottom resets if I close the app (which virtually every mobile game doesn't do). Am I supposed to keep this open and running forever? And the times I have left the app open the game doesn't give me the rolls at the end of the hour. I want to play this as much as possible, but it seems I cant play at all unless I pay or watch ads nonstop

I don't like that you have to pay to send the food even though you're working to earn the food, not the treats. The ads are supposed to cover the cost. although suddenly the last 2 days after the last update, I can't watch an ad to get more rolls which is just ridiculous. More ads would mean more money for the shelter dogs. It seemed fun at first, but I'm probably going to delete it.

Love the idea of this. It's a cute idea. My only complaint is that every time, yep every time since I installed yesterday, when I play a video ad, it plays but havent been able to "x" out to complete the process when its over. Have tried hitting it all over the screen and nothing works. I either have to close the game and restart or back out of the video and I dont get the credit for watching the video. Can someone give me a clue 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣🐕❤️

FANTASTIC!!! I mean,it's about time someone made an app like this. I'm a gamer at heart so this is a no brainer for me. I just put it in my rotation of games that I cycle through a few times a day. But even if you're not a gamer,this app is a no-brainer. There are different subscriptions available,all at shockingly low cost. If you're an animal lover and have been wanting to do more to help fur babies in need,look no further. Be an active part of the animals you sponser. Love it!!!

Love the thought - Game is full of bugs I love the concept of helping out shelters by providing meals and treats to needy animals. The game can use some work though. The audio is bugged to be on. No matter how many times I mute the in game audio, it keeps playing. Another bug is the dogs randomly dropping down to 40%while I'm petting them. I log in daily and pet all my dogs (10 currently) and without fail, once I'm almost done getting them to 100%, they all drop back down to 40%.

This app is a fun way to contribute to animals in shelters. Every shelter needs to have this or an app like it. Whoever thought of this is a hero! Keep creating! As far as technical issues, my app stopped being able to receive the rewards (rolls of dice) for packages received by the shelters, level ups & reached goals. I can only receive the awards while in the game on the road while rolling the dice. I'm not complaining but the rewards I stopped receiving add up to lost needed kibble & treats.

Cute game and it's a little basic right now but I'm sure it will grow. The best part is all the Dogs you're able to help. You learn their story and get notified when the treats you've earned while playing or the food you've bought is delivered to the shelter and when they are adopted! It's a wonderful concept for a game, to help shelter fur babies by playing a simple fun game. So there's nothing to lose in downloading this game, it's fun to play, it's free, and it helps shelter dogs. Try it!

I've been playing for 2 days and have already been able to mail 3 packages. I emailed the animal rescue that I chose to support to see if they actually receive packages sent in game and they said they do but to an extent. either way its nice to know that watching a few adds is helping take care of dogs in a small way. I really hope this game develops a bit more because right now it feels slightly clunky but overall I am happy with it.

Great overall... I just noticed on a doggie I am rolling for, in the profile, it says "challenging" on the highest bar level to home. However, when I play the game to pet your dog, it says my doggy is easy or medium, resulting in a loss of kibbles. When I double-check the profile, it says challenging... I'm not sure what's going on there.

I love that it helps real shelter dogs, and as long as it is doing that, I will continue to play until the ones I have get adopted, but they are making changes that make them seem greedy. You get 42 daily rolls and have to pay for more rolls with no option for watching an ad for free rolls anymore. I understand that the app has to make some money, too, but I also pay monthly for the upgraded membership, and I remote foster. Give back the free rolls.

Look at reviews, it's obvious no tech support here. There is a way to get tech within the app but you have to use a numerical ID only, and the ID visible to you is mostly LETTERS. After a few "watch videos for 3 spins" you are forced to buy the spins. Since the App won't let me watch videos in exchange for spins, so I uninstalled it. Then I couldn't reinstall it for about a week. When I signed in, I had lost the 4 dogs in Tennessee that I was feeding . You can't change shelters, either.

When given the option to play videos to double treats, or add 3 rolls, it frequently stops working and a black screen appears you do not receive your extra rolls or double treats. It's highly aggravating when you are paying for a service not just using the free treat option. I have emailed the team, and communicated, and they only blame third parties and do nothing about it.

This was a great app to start. Unfortunately, I got signed out of my account and haven't been able to get in since. I've contacted them through their contact form several times. I get the standard we saw your email and will get back to you, then nothing. To make it worse, I was paying for the treats, and there is no way I can find to cancel unless you're signed in. Tried the contact form (put my paypal name with it)with that, too. No reply

I absolutely love this game, it just has a few sound issues to work on. Anytime I get an order shipped I lose sound on the game. Also, the treat sound is much louder than the rest of the game. I do love the mini games and they earn you more treats. Plus, you get to see new pics and more info about the dogs you're helping. Yes, the game can be kind of repetitive, but it's for a good cause and the animation is super cute. Especially when you pet your dogs!

Such a simple, time passing way, to help shelters. free with paid options. I do wish they would fix the sound issue: I have mine turned off in the app but, when I ship a package, it reverses and turns back on. I have to get out to main screen and it shows off but the volume will actually be playing. click it on and off and it will be off again.

For what it is, it's cute. Needs refinement, but I like dogs and games. You have to watch ads, but they're honest about it. I don't know why poop is always displayed to the left, lol. I unlocked another dog, but the game deleted it. I think it can be fun and good as they develop more and get into ideas that work.

This app is great & so sweet. I've been reading the lower star reviews about it crashing, but I've never had a problem. I think it might be on the users' end. The delays with shipping are also explained in the game: they ship in bulk or it wouldn't be cost effective; they can't send just one bag/box at a time. I've had absolutely no problem except the bittersweet joy if my babies being adopted & knowing I can't take any of them home since I rent and I'm at my max of allowed pets already.

I would have given it five stars before the last update but this app. took a hard hit to greedy new tactics to restrict how much even "unlimited" shipment paying customers can provide. Before you could easily watch as many ads as you wanted to send boxes. they added new ad limits. Buying them is a scam. I've rolled thousands of times and a minimum of a third are wasted on empty spaces. They make more of a difference than they want. If they undo this decision, I will bring it back to 5 stars.

cute idea, and very easy to operate the app. I just wish that once you earned enough kibble (and treats, if you got any) it would ship by itself without me having to struggle through how does it ship subscription that pops up or lose some of what we earned. And whenever I do try to pay a subscription, it always says it won't let me and gives me an error message. this is with card and PayPal both. and 3 rolls per 60 second ad is nice, but not practical? maybe 5 or so per ad set?

This is a fantastic idea and very cute. The game play is repetitive and limited, so when you go into it, acknowledge that you're playing it to contribute to the cause rather than for entertainment. I wish more shelters would partner with this app, as the only one in my state is 5 hours away - I'd love to be able to visit my pet pals. Very easy, adorable, and beneficial! Suggestion: a cats version!
